The first group below are samples of my digital illustration work and were created with Freehand, Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Painter software applications. I would typically begin with a scanned pencil drawing or photograph to use as a guide for creating lines and shapes in a vector application (Freehand or Illustrator). I would then add color, form and texture to a rasterized version in Photoshop.

A few examples of my airbrush work from 1981 to 1998 are below. It's a very tedious process and was about the only way to achieve perfectly smooth color gradations before computers. All of my work is now digital.
