Draft

a. order
The draft order is based on each team's overall winning percentages from
the previous season...worst record (1st pick) up to the best, but the
2 CFFL SuperBowl teams are the last 2...with the CHAMP having the last pick.

W-L record ties are broken by:
1. overall winning percentage
2. head to head results
3. total points scored
4. divisional winning percentage
5. reverse order of opponent total points scored
6. coin toss

Any new owners added during the off season, will be placed at the bottom of the
first round (and all other odd numbered rounds) for their first draft.  Likewise, they
will be at the top of round 2 (and all other even numbered rounds).

1st Round and all other odd rounds as listed below.
2nd Round and all other even rounds will be in the reverse order of odd rounds.

2011 draft order...
LA Kats
Long Shoals River Rats
Washington Warpath

2 minutes max per pick.

d. how to draft
Draft Info...
Once the draft has started, an owner may either draft a player (if it's his/her turn to draft) or define a pre-draft (if it's not his/her turn to draft).

Sometimes, owners may have unanticipated computer problems, Internet connection problems, personal emergencies, etc.
that cause the best laid plans to go to awry. If there are problems during the draft, you can call the Franklin Furballs owner/commish for help.

e. trading picks  USING OUR AUTOMATED WEB SITE.
Owners allowed to trade before and during draft with roster limits observed.
Any trades during draft must be confirmed to me by both owners before being official.
Picks can only be traded for players and/or other picks.

f. what happens when the 2 minute draft timer expires (also known as your ASSISTANT DRAFT COACH)?
When it is your turn make a draft pick, you can choose a player of your choice but if the timer runs out...the computer system will first
attempt to pick the highest-ranked available player on your "My Draft List" player ranking list.  If there are none available on your list,
the computer system will draft a player for you according to rankings displayed on the ADP page.  The ADP report is a detailed analysis
of the average draft position (ADP) results that are based upon drafts that have occurred this season on MyFantasyLeague.com.
How does the computer use the ADP to choose a position?  The ADP Report picks the highest rated player at a given position based on
your league's Starting Lineup Setup screen, Roster Position Limits screen, and Formations Setup screen.

Rosters
a. size
18 players at all times.

b. positions
Owners must at least be able to field a starting lineup.
The number of backups are up to each owner.

c. owners responsible for covering bye weeks
Keep in mind that if you load up on players from one team or division that
you could have problems fielding a team on their bye week.

d. position eligibility
Certain  players have shared time at more than one position. For drafting
purposes:  Eric Metcalf is a WR, Kordell Stewart is a QB. Both will still
get credit for ALL yardage and scoring however)

Starters
a. how many
1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1K, 1DEF/SP TEAMS
If you submit too many or not enough players than required at any position,
then you will have your previous week's starters used at that position for point
scoring, no matter if they are hurt or on a bye week.

b. deadlines
Players are locked at scheduled kickoff of their game.

To submit weekly rosters...
Set your lineups on our website each week.  You can always change your lineup prior to the deadlines.
Every time you set your lineup you and your opponent will be sent an e-mail and it will be posted to
the website as well.

Each week, a franchise owner should have a starting lineup.
Starting lineups can be submitted by:
1.From the league home page, select the Submit Lineups Option under the For Owners heading.
2.Select the franchise that you would like to submit lineups for.
   3.Enter the franchise password.
   4.Press the Go! button.
5.On the next web page, you will see a list of all players on the rosters for the
     franchise  selected.
6.Select the week of the NFL season that you are submitting lineups for. Franchise
owners may only submit lineups for a given week up until kickoff of the first game
that week. Note: Kickoff for a given week is determined by the time our Web server
computer thinks it is, not by the time that you or your computer thinks it is.  To
be safe, you should never wait until just five minutes or so before kickoff to
     submit lineups.
7.Select the appropriate number of starters for each category of starters.
   8.Press the Submit Lineups button.
9.On the next web page, you will receive a confirmation of your starting lineup for
     that week.

c. penalty for no starters submitted
Week 1- no points awarded;
other weeks- previous weeks starters used no matter if they are hurt or on a bye week.

Scoring

Passing:
1 point for every 20 yards passing
3 points for every passing TD
1 point for every 2 point conversion pass

Rushing:
1 point for every 10 yards  rushing
6 points for every rushing TD
2 points for every rushing 2 point conversion

Receiving:
1 point for every 10 yards receiving
6 points for every receiving TD
2 points for every receiving 2 point conversion

Kicking:
1 point for each extra point
3 points for 1-44 yard field goal
4 points for 45-54 yard field goal
5 points for 55+yard field goal

Special Teams:
The special team yards will be figured like rushing or receiving yards
1 pt per 20 yds gained for that particular player only.
Return yardage on special teams counts for your *individual* starters at
QB, RB, WR, TE. Its is figured at 1pt. for every 20 yards just like normal
rushing and receiving yards.
Example: If Tim Dwight has a 60 yard TD return on special teams, he gets 3
points and credit for the TD.  The San Diego Defense would only be awarded a
return TD, not the yardage points.

Defense/Special Teams:
1 point for each turnover (interception or fumble recovery)
1 point for each sack
2 points for each safety
6 points for each TD scored on defense or special teams
10 points for each NFL shutout
6 points if only 2 to 6 points scored against your defense
Team Defenses/Sp. Teams DO NOT get yardage bonuses.

notes:
1. kickers can score a TD rush ,rec, or pass on a fake field goal
2. if a player scores on a punt return, both he AND the def/spec teams get credit

Official NFL Stats / CFFL Scores Corrections...
Every week, a couple of days after all of the games of that week are final and your fantasy scores have
been calculated, the Elias Sports Bureau (which is the official statistician for the NFL) reviews all of the
games on tape and sometimes issues official stat corrections if needed.  Our league's stats and scores
are automatically adjusted after these corrections are made.

REGULAR SEASON FREE AGENCY & TRADING
The first week of regular season Free Agency will be between week 1 and week 2 of the regular NFL season.

Free agency & Trading starts at 8:00 AM Tuesday each week.  All regular season Free
Agent Picks and Trades are due by 12 NOON the day before the 1st game of the week.
If the first game of the week is on Sun, then Free agent picks must be in by Sat at 12 Noon.
If the first game of the week is on Thurs, then Free agent picks must be in by Wed at 12 Noon.
One free agent transaction per team per week.

Once a free agent waiver/trade period has started, you can request a free agent selection,
from our web site's drop down menu choose FOR OWNERS then WAIVERS.  From there
you can enter who you want and who you want to drop, much like pre-selecting a draft pick.
You can enter more than one selection, and put the selections in order of importance.
Then click the SAVE button to save your selections.  To verify your pick(s), return to the
WAIVERS screen and your pick(s) should be listed.  After the deadline has passed I will process
the waivers and the transactions will be completed.
You can enter as many as you want but you will
get the top choice that is available when it is your turn.

Players released from a team to pick up a Free Agent CAN be signed back to the team that
released them if they are available and reselected by the team's owner.

No Free agent claims after week 14.
No Trading after week 12.

How To Trade Between Owners...
How to Propose, Revoke, Reject, Accept, etc...
Each team is also allowed one trade per week (in addition to their one free agent pickup).
Trades must be for an equal number of players AND once you have traded
a player away he cannot return to your team for the rest of the season!!!
Both owners have to accept a trade to me before it becomes official.

Trading time periods are the same as free agent waiver times.

We are using the automated TRADE feature on our web site.  I will approve them through
our website weekly, as long as none of our trade rules are violated.  Trades must be
for an equal number of players.  Both owners have to accept a trade to me before it
becomes official!

commish veto rules
The commish (Johnny) veto any transaction that in my judgement is against the spirit
of the league such as collusion, submitting an obvious weak lineup in  an attempt to
throw games, etc.

majority vote of owners can overturn commish veto
If 6 owners of the remaining 11 owners vote to overturn a veto then it is
overturned and the
original action stands.
