Monthly rent is divided into various charges. For example, every member pays a general House Charge, which is currently $234 per month. This covers all utilities which include phone, gas, electric, cable, water, garbage... Basically everything but personal long-distance phone calls. Every member also pays a Food Charge, which is currently set at $57 per month. Finally, there is a Room Charge. Because there are 3 doubles (shared by two members) and each room is a different size, each room has a unique Room Charge. Room charges range from $0 to $137 and therefore, residents pay between $303 and $428 per month to live in the co-op.
