Welcome to my web site! My Wife (Diane) and I have been together for more than sixteen years, and there are children and a grandchild in our lives as well. We live in the southwest corner of the great state of Washington, and particular the growing Tri-Cities area. I have lived here more than 34 years and my Wife has been here for over 40 years, so apparently the locale agrees with us. It is a "bustling" (and sprawling) metropolis of three large cities and four smaller towns in close geographical proximity and very strong economical links to one another as well. Diane is in her tenth year at the local Kennewick Irrigation District. The are one of the primary suppliers of water for the various Farmers and Orchardists in the Benton County area. This is a utility company with ties to the Federal Bureau of Reclamation. I am a Research Scientist for Battelle Toxicology Northwest. They are a group of 80+ people that are a subset of the Battelle Memorial Institute, whose headquarters may be found in Columbus, Ohio. Another large local commitment for Battelle is running the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory for the Department of Energy. This is located on the Hanford Nuclear Reservation, north of the Tri-Cites. It is a R&D support role during the cleanup of the many "decommissioned" nuclear reactor's and related sites that are located there..
