String of Pearls

Our darling, Helen "the Hellion" Daniels didn't quite live up to her club nickname when she received not one, not two, but three String of Pearl Awards!
Jim Michelson was presented with a certificate for achieving an 0-9 night, also known as a String of Pearls.  Jim added his own comment on the bottom of the scorecard,
"And Damn Proud of It!"
Eric McAlvey was the third winner of the not- so- prestigious String of Pearls award.
Picture unavailable Terry Smith "Mr 29" proved he can be humbled too as he won the 4th String of Pearls March 21, 2002.
Picture unavailable Aaron Dutcher was the 5th winner (?) of the String of Pearls April 18, 2002.
Picture unavailable Ralph Yaw had the String of Pearls laid on him on October 3, 2002 and is the 6th recipient.
Picture unavailable Eric Jacobsen won (?) the String of Pearls  on February 6, 2003 and is the 7th recipient.
Picture unavailable Zeke Blocklinger won (?) the String of Pearls  on March 13, 2003 and is the 8th recipient.
Picture not available Jim "Cagey" Corn took on the task of being the doormat and did it well he secured the 9th String of Pearls on September 16, 2004, this goes along with 2 Grand Slams scored earlier!!
Picture not available Mike "Mr Quizno's" Clapper set out in the April 30, 2005 edition of the Grass Roots National Tournament hosted by the Sweet Onion Peggers to gain fame and fortune. However in the morning session he gained the fame going 0-9 for this seasons second string of pearls! 10th winner of this award but he did well enough in the afternoon set of 9 games to place 4th so all was not lost!!
Picture not available Kim "Poker Face" Ingersoll envisioned winning at least a few games on March 30, 2006 when showed up to play some cribbage.  The cards had other ideas as she quickly learned.  She went 0-9 on the night and is the 11th winner of this award!
