   "Wild" Willie Evans claimed first place tonight with his 16 Pts. 7 W 122 Spread card. J. R. "The Spoiler" Cast took second place with another 16 Pt. 7 W 102 Spread card.  "Old #1" Martin Hellberg finished third with a 13 Pt. 6 W 69 Spread card. Pat "Driller" Jungmann picked up fourth place with another 13 Pt. 6 W 42 Spread card. Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest collected another 12 Points but no money this fifteenth sanctioned night of the season.

     "Sweety" must have made a new year's resolution to continue her lazy ways as she only visited three people tonight. She started off visiting Mike "Mr. Quiznos" Clapper in his game two. That visit was short as she moved on to Pat "Driller" Jungmann's hands in his game three. She settled there for a long while until Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest grabbed her away in her game seven and kept her until the end
of the evening to collect the $16.00.

 

EVENT HAPPENINGS 

          "Wild" Willie Evans visiting again from Richland only lost two games in the middle to "Saweet Johnny" Hensley and "Captain" Jack Stemmer and skunking our guest Jim Harpe and Dick "The Grumbler" Taylor while winning his last five games to take first place money with his 16 Pt. 7W 122 Spread card.

                  J.R. "The Spoiler" Cast was also on a winning streak, losing only two games to "Bad Betty" Morehouse and Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest while also skunking two opponents Mike "Mr. Quiznos" Clapper and "Trooper" Tom Varnell completing his 16 Pt. 7 W  102 Spread card and collecting second place money tonight.

   

                 "Old #1" Martin Hellberg only lost three of his games skunking only  Helen "The Hellion" Daniels while managing to string four of his last five games together for his 13 Pt  6 W 69 Spread card for his third place finish tonight.

                  Pat "Driller" Jungmann skunked "Trooper" Tom Varnell in his first game tonight but was unable to put together any kind of a string still managing to finish the evening with another 13 Pt. 6 W 42 Spread card to collect fourth place money tonight.

 

                  Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest  started the evening losing her first game before running a winning streak of four but losing two of her last four to score points with her 12 Pt. 6 W 76 Spread card.

SPECIAL POOLS

 

          The New Year Started off with all of the pools open again and Dave "Da Boz" Bosley caught the Crib Flush tonight.  Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest also grabbed  Raggedy Andy which still leaves the  Raggedy Ann , The Wheel and  23 Hands  open.

 

  28/29  POOL

 

       Three attempts were made at draining the pool tonight. John "Rotten" Reed  tried twice. First in game four with a J and three 5's cutting an A and again in his game eight this time with a Q and three 5's cutting a 3. In between "Old # 1" Martin Hellberg in his game seven held a K and three 5's cutting a 7 for no help so it now stands at $437.00 after the fifteenth night of the season.

 

 Skunk Fund


        The skunk fund  fared a little better tonight.  It received  $2.00 by the end of the evening.   WE STILL THANK ALL OF YOU!!
