       John "Rotten" Reed increased his lead tonight taking first place money with his 15 Pts. 7 W 68 Spread card.  Carl "The Wizard" Schaefer captured two second places by finishing with his 14 Pt. 7 W 83 Spread card. "Old # 1" Martin Hellberg collected third place money with an 11 Pt. 5 W 49 Spread card. "Bad Betty" Morehouse returned to her winning ways taking fourth place cash with another 11 Pt. 5 W -33 Spread Card.

      "Sweety" refused to move off of the table tonight so the $14.00 for the last 24 Hand Pot will stay and be added to next weeks winnings.

 

EVENT HAPPENINGS 

 

             John "Rotten" Reed starting off tonight losing his first game then bounced back to win two games before losing again. He then got hot winning his last five games skunking "Bad Betty" Morehouse and defeating Carl "The Wizard" Schaefer in his last game to push him into second place to complete his 15 Pt 7 W 68 Spread Card for first place money.

 

              Carl "The Wizard" Schaefer returned from vacation and started by winning his first game lost the next one then went on a tear winning six in a row before losing his last one to John "Rotten" Reed but regained second place in club points turning in a 14 Pt 7 W 83 Spread Card to finish in second place tonight. 

      

            "Old # 1" Martin Hellberg could not put any kind of a string together tonight, never winning or losing more than two games at a time but managed to skunk Don "Curly" Russell and finish with an 11 Pt 5 W 49 Spread Card for no points but it give him third place money tonight.

 

                "Bad Betty" Morehouse won her first game skunking  Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest then lost the next two being skunked by Dave "Da Boz" Bosley before winning the next two and losing again being skunked by John "Rotten" Reed . She managed to win two of her last three games to complete her 11 Pt. 5 W -33 Spread card to collect fourth place cash but no points either tonight.

     SPECIAL POOLS

 

            No special hands were found tonight which leaves three special hands for our next session.

 

 

     28/29 POOL

 

         Only one attempt reported tonight to drain the pool. Mike "Mr. Quiznos" Clapper held a J and three 5's for a possible 29 but only managed to cut an 8 in his game five. The pool now stands at $298.00.

 

     Skunk Fund

 

             The skunk pot stamps were busy again but the fund was not as prosperous tonight. It received $2.00 by the end of the evening. WE STILL THANK ALL OF YOU!! !!
