"Sweety" finally got off her buns and really moved around tonight visiting five different people. Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest enjoyed her company twice tonight , first time in her third game and then again in her game eight. Connie Reardon took her away in her game four which lasted until game five when Helen "The Hellion" Daniels latched onto her. She stayed there until John "Rotten" Reed called for her in his game seven. That lasted only until game eight when Shirley took her away but not for long as "Captain" Jack snatched her away in his game eight and managed to secure her to collect the $14.00 at the end of the evening.
EVENT HAPPENINGS
Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest was not to be denied this week as she was two weeks ago. She completed her Grand Slam card of 18 Pt. 9 W 162 Spread Card for first place money and at the same time wrested away first place in the club from Pat "Driller Jungmann.
John "Rotten "Reed jumped up to second place this week despite losing his first game to Jim Harpe. He recovered to string together his next five games skunking both "Captain" Jack Stemmer and "Old # 1" Martin Hellberg before losing to J.R. "The Spoiler" Cast but came back to win his last two for his 16 Pt. 7 W 100 Spread
Jim Harpe started off the evening winning his first three games but then wandered back and forth between winning and losing all night even skunking Dick "The Grumbler" Taylor in his game eight and finishing with a win for his 14 Pt. 6 W 67 Spread Card.
Helen "The Hellion" Daniels skunked "Captain" Jack Stemmer in her first game lost her second but managed to put enough wins together also skunking J.R. "The Spoiler" Cast to complete her 13 Pt. 5 W 93 Spread and finishing in the money for the third week in a row falling down to fourth from second place last week.

SPECIAL POOLS
Helen "The Hellion" Daniels claimed the Raggedy Ann tonight so that leaves just the 23 Hand open.
28/29 POOL
Two attempts were made at draining the pool tonight. John "Rotten" Reed in his game two with a J and three 5's cutting a K for no help. Pat "Driller" Jungmann tried in his game four holding a 10 and three 5's but couldn't come up with any help cutting only a 7. So the pool now stands at $475.00 after the eighteenth night of the season.
Skunk Fund
The skunk fund did fare a little better tonight. It received
$2.00
by the end of the evening. WE STILL THANK ALL OF YOU!!
DIRECTOR’S NOTE
In three games of the first three rounds this evening they were all decided by the cut of a Jack.
Zeke "Da Zappa" Blocklinger was
the head judge tonight, thanks for your help.
