Our newest returning member Jim Michelson took first place money tonight with his 14 Pts. 6 W 65 Spread card. "Saweet Johnny" Hensley got back into the money and points race finishing in second place this week with his 13 Pt. 6 W 62 Spread card. John "Rotten" Reed fell down to third with his 13 Pt. 5 W 82 Spread card. "Trooper" Tom Varnell captured fourth place with a 12 Pt. 6 W 29 Spread card but no money award. Dick "The Grumbler" Taylor also added to his point total with another 12 Pt. 5 W 55 Spread card and no cash.

"Sweety" was so lazy tonight John "Rotten" Reed called for her in his second game and that's where she stayed in his lap the whole night as he collected the $12.00 at the end of the evening.
EVENT HAPPENINGS
Jim Michelson decided to rejoin the club in a big way turning in a 14 Pt. 6 W 65 Spread Card for first place money skunking both J.R. "The Spoiler" Cast in game four and third place finisher John "Rotten "Reed in his last game.
"Saweet Johnny" Hensley jumped back into the points race this week despite losing his first game to J.R. "The Spoiler" Cast. He recovered to string together his next four games skunking "Captain" Jack Stemmer before losing to Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest and first place winner Jim Michelson but came back to win his last two for his 13 Pt. 6 W 62 Spread Card
and second place.
John "Rotten" Reed started off the evening winning his first three games by skunking "Captain" Jack Stemmer in his first and Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest in his third lost his fourth then won his next two skunking J.R. "The Spoiler" Cast in his game six and finishing with three losses getting skunked in his last by Jim Michelson for his 13 Pt. 5 W 82 Spread Card.
"Trooper" Tom Varnell also started off the evening winning his first three games and lost his next two and finished out the evening winning three of his last four to complete his 12 Pt. 6 W 29 Spread Card for fourth place but no money to move himself back into top five in club standings.
Dick "The Grumbler" Taylor also managed to collect more points tonight skunking both "Captain" Jack Stemmer and "Bad Betty" Morehouse before being skunked by Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest and finishing with a win for a 12 Pt. 5 W 55 Spread Card.

SPECIAL POOLS
No attempts tonight on the only hand open the 23 Hand.
28/29 POOL
Two attempts were made at draining the pool tonight. John "Rotten" Reed in his first game with a J and three 5's cutting a K for no help. J.R. "The Spoiler" Cast tried in his game eight holding a J and three 5's but couldn't come up with any help cutting only an 8. So the pool now stands at $486.00 after the nineteenth night of the season.
Skunk Fund
The skunk fund did fare a little better tonight. It received
$2.25
by the end of the evening. WE STILL THANK ALL OF YOU!!
