John "Rotten" Reed ran off with first place money tonight with his 18 Pts. 8 W 128 Spread card. Pat "Driller" Jungmann got back into the money and first place in the club race finishing in second place this week with his 12 Pt. 6 W 20 Spread card. "Saweet Johnny" Hensley fell down to third with his 12 Pt. 6 W 13 Spread card. Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest captured fourth place with an 11 Pt. 5 W 30 Spread card for cash but no points award.

"Sweety" was a little more active tonight visiting four different persons. She started off quickly going to "Trooper" Tom Varnell in his game one but only stayed for a short time as Dick "The Grumbler" Taylor asked for her in his game two. She settled there until John "Rotten" Reed called for her in his game seven. That lasted for a very short while as Dick "The Grumbler" Taylor grabbed her right back in his game seven. But is was not to be as along came "Bad Betty" Morehouse in her game eight and that's where she stayed as she collected the $14.00 at the end of the evening.
EVENT HAPPENINGS
John "Rotten" Reed took off in a big way turning in an 18 Pt. 8 W 6128 Spread Card for first place money skunking both "Trooper" Tom Varnell in game two and "Farmer" Jim Harpe in his last game being stopped from a grand slam by running into Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest in his game four as his only loss of the night.
Pat "Driller" Jungmann jumped back into the points race this week despite being almost skunked by Helen "The Hellion" Daniels in his game two and losing his third to J.R. "The Spoiler" Cast. He recovered to string together his next four games before losing to first place winner John "Rotten" Reed but came back to win his last one for his 12 Pt. 6 W 20 Spread Card and second place money and regaining first place in club points race.
"Saweet Johnny" Hensley started off the evening winning his first five games before losing three in a row to Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest, John "Rotten" Reed and being skunked by Dick "The Grumbler" Taylor in his game eight before finishing with a win for his 12 Pt. 6 W 13 Spread Card and third place money.
Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest also started off the evening losing her first two games, winning her next two and finished out the evening alternately winning and losing to complete her 11 Pt. 5 W 30 Spread Card for fourth place money but no points to move back into second place in club standings.

No attempts were made at draining the pool tonight. So the pool now stands at $499.00 after the twentieth night of the season.

The skunk fund did not fare as
well tonight. It received only
