"Sweety" started out the afternoon in the hands of "Saweet Johnny" Hensley in his game two but that didn't last very long as "Trooper" Tom Varnell took her for a short visit in his game two. Then along came "Bad Betty" Morehouse in her game three to quickly capture her and repeated the feat twice more in her games six and nine. But that was not to be her final stop as Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest snatched her away in the next to last hand in her game nine to collect the $14.00 at the end of the afternoon.
EVENT HAPPENINGS
"Bad Betty" Morehouse started off with a bang skunking Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest in game one but was then skunked in return in game two by J.R. "The Spoiler" Cast winning another and losing another to "Old # 1" Martin Hellberg before stringing together her last five games even managing to skunk our visitor and former club member Jeremy "The Cat" Morris to complete her 16 Pt. 7 W 80 Spread Card for first place money.
Pat "Driller" Jungmann increased his club point lead further this week by finishing second for the third time this month. He was not able to win more than two games in a row all afternoon but still completed his 12 Pt. 6 W 72 Spread Card for second place cash.
Helen "The Hellion" Daniels had a good start winning her first four games but then bounced back and forth winning and losing even getting skunked in her game seven by "Trooper" Tom Varnell before completing her 12 Pt. 6 W -15 Spread Card for third place money.
"Farmer" Jim Harpe also started off losing his first three games, but turned it around and won five of his last six games managing to skunk "Old # 1" Martin Hellberg in game five collecting his 11 Pt. 5 W 36 Spread Card for fourth place but no money or points.
