        "Bad Betty" Morehouse continued her winning ways tonight this time taking first place money with a 15 Pts. 6 W 64 Spread card. Pat "Driller" Jungmann added points and cash to his pocket with another second place finish with his 14 Pt. 7 W 69 Spread card. Don "Curly" Russell dropped down taking third place money with a 14 Pt. 6 W 78 Spread card. Carl "The Wizard" Schaefer edged closer to first place in the club with a 13 Pt. 6 W 41 Spread Card and a fourth place finish tonight

      "Sweety" was very lazy again this evening . She waited until game four when "Captain Jack" Stemmer finally woke her. She again fell asleep there and stayed the whole night so he could collect the $16.00 from the last 24 Hand Pot.

 

EVENT HAPPENINGS 

 

            "Bad Betty" Morehouse decided it was either skunk or be skunked tonight so she started by skunking Susan "Little Red" Hall in her first game then won two more before being skunked by  "Trooper" Tom Varnell.  So she then skunked Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest in return. She coasted for two games then got skunked by "Old # 1" Martin Hellberg.  Finally to get even she skunked Mike "Mr. Quiznos" Clapper in her last game to complete a 15 Pt. 6 W 64 Spread Card for first place money.

 

              Pat "Driller" Jungmann had a good night winning his first four games before a loss. He came back to win three more before losing his last one and turned in a 14 Pt. 7 W 69 Spread Card to finish in second place again tonight.

      

           Don "Curly" Russell was able to put together a string of four winning games in the middle of his card skunking "Old # 1" Martin Hellberg after starting by skunking "Saweet Johnny" Hensley in his first and losing his next two to finish with a 14 Pt 6 W 78 Spread Card to give him third place money.

 

               Carl "The Wizard" Schaefer alternated winning and losing games tonight skunking J.R. "The Spoiler" Cast in game four but at the end winning three in a row to finish with a 13 Pt. 6 W 41 Spread card for fourth place cash tonight.

.           

             Dick "The Grumbler" Taylor also added to his point total tonight finishing with a 12 Pt. 6 W 62 Spread Card.

 

      CLUB POINTS RACE (TOP 5 POINTS LEADERS) The points won from the GRRT have been added to the points total.

     SPECIAL POOLS

 

                  Carl "The Wizard" Schaefer found The Wheel so all of the hands are open again for our next session.

 

 

     28/29 POOL

 

         Two attempts reported tonight to drain the pool. John "Rotten" Reed was dealt a J and three 5's  but could only cut a lowly 2  for no help. Next came J.R. "The Spoiler" Cast with another J and three 5's this time cutting a Q. So the pool now stands at $385.00.

 

     Skunk Fund

 

             The skunk pot stamps were a little busier resulting in the fund becoming a bit more prosperous tonight. It received $2.00 by the end of the evening. WE STILL THANK ALL OF YOU!! !!
