"Sweety" started out tonight in the hands of "Captain Jack" Stemmer in his game two but that didn't last long as Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest took her away in her game three. She held her for a very short while as along came "Farmer" Jim Harpe and grabbed her away in her away in his game three and there she stayed until J.R. "The Spoiler" Cast collected her in his game nine to collect the $13.00 at the end of the evening.
EVENT HAPPENINGS
"Trooper" Tom Varnell lost his second game of the night by only one point to "Captain Jack" Stemmer which killed his hopes for a grand slam. He did recover to win all the rest of his games to complete his 16 Pt. 8 W 122 Spread Card for first place money.
Pat "Driller" Jungmann scored the only other points tonight but wasn't able to put together any kind of a winning streak even getting skunked by "Saweet Johnny" Hensley in his game seven but still managed to pull out a 12 Pt. 6 W 13 Spread Card for second place cash.
Dick "The Grumbler" Taylor started out winning his first two games but then bounced back and forth losing and winning before skunking "Farmer" Jim Harpe in his game five while completing his 11 Pt. 5 W 13 Spread Card for third place money but no points.
"Wild" Willie Evans visited with us tonight and started off by skunking John "Rotten" Reed in game one but then lost his next three before winning four in a row and losing his last one for his 11 Pt. 5 W -4 Spread Card for fourth place cash but no points.

SPECIAL POOLS
"Trooper" Tom Varnell caught the Raggedy Andy tonight which is the second closed hand of the special pools. That leaves four other hands open for this coming week.
28/29 POOL
Three attempts made at draining the pool tonight. "Trooper" Tom Varnell tried in his game two with a Q and three 5's but could only cut a three. Then "Saweet Johnny" Hensley held a J and three 5's in his game two but could only get another 3 for no help. "Farmer" Jim Harpe held a J and three 5's in his game seven but ended up cutting only a 7 . The pool now is capped at $511.00 after the twenty fifth night of the season.
Skunk Fund
The skunk fund fared
a little better this evening. It received $1.75
by the end of the evening. WE STILL THANK ALL OF YOU!!
