    Pat "Driller" Jungmann sewed up the club championship this evening with his 15 Pts. 7 W 91 Spread card for first place. John "Rotten" Reed finished in second place with his 14 Pt. 7 W 48 Spread card. "Saweet" Johnny Hensley collected third place money with another 14 Pt. 7 W 27 Spread card. “Captain Jack” Stemmer took fourth place for points but no cash with his 12Pt 5 W 75 Spread card.

"Sweety" was so lazy for the second time this month she could not move off of the table tonight. So the $10.00 will be added to next weeks last 24 Hand pot.

EVENT HAPPENINGS

Pat “Driller” Jungmann started off the night losing to Helen “The Hellion” Daniels but came back and won three games in a row before being stopped by John “Rotten” Reed in game five but came roaring back winning his last four games skunking Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest in game seven to complete his 15 Pt. 7 W 91 Spread Card for first place money.

John “Rotten” Reed had a good night winning three in a row to start, then losing to “Saweet” Johnny Hensley coming back to win three more before being skunked by J.R. “The Spoiler” Cast in game eight and winning his last game to complete his 14 Pt. 7 W 48 Spread Card for second place.

“Saweet” Johnny Hensley started out by winning his first game then losing his second one coming back to win three in a row. He lost one more before winning his last three to finish out his 14 Pt. 7 W 27 Spread Card for third place money

“Captain Jack” Stemmer also managed to score points tonight with his 12 Pt 5 W 75 Spread card skunking J.R. “The Spoiler” Cast in his third game and Helen “The Hellion” Daniels in his seventh one.

SPECIAL POOLS

       “Farmer” Jim Harpe scored 23 points in his eighth game on his way to skunking Shirley “Buzz Saw” Guest. Then in his last game John “Rotten” Reed picked up the Raggedy Ann which leaves the Crib Flush and the Raggedy Andy as the last two hands open for the coming week.

Three attempts made at draining the pool tonight. J.R. “The Spoiler” Cast had a K and three 5’s in his game one but came up short with a 10 cut. The second attempt he held a 10 and three 5’s this time cutting a 3 for no help in his game two. The last attempt was by Pat “Driller” Jungmann holding a K and three 5’s this time cutting only a 7 for no help. The pool is still capped at $511.00 for now.

 Skunk Fund

             The skunk fund was not so prosperous tonight. It received only $1.50 by the end of the evening. WE STILL THANK ALL OF YOU!!
