    J.R. "The Spoiler" Cast grabbed first place this evening with his 15 Pts. 7 W 60 Spread card. John "Rotten" Reed finished in second place again this week with a 13 Pt. 6 W 112 Spread card. Carl "The Wiz" Schafer collected third place money with his 12 Pt. 6 W 59 Spread card. Shirley “Buzz Saw” Guest took fourth place with her 12Pt 5 W 54 Spread card.

     "Sweety" was not much more energettic this week than last as she only visited two people tonight. The first one was Helen “The Hellion” Daniels in her game two. She settled there for most of the evening until J.R. “The Spoiler” Cast took her away in his game eight to collect the $23.00 from the last 24 Hand pot.

 

EVENT HAPPENINGS 

 

      J.R. “The Spoiler” Cast started off the night winning six games in a row before being skunked by Old # 1” Martin Hellberg in game seven but came back winning one of his last two games to complete his 15 Pt. 7 W 60 Spread Card for first place money.

 

    John “Rotten” Reed had a good night skunking Carl “The Wiz” Schafer in his second game on the way to winning four in a row to start, then losing to “Farmer” Jim Harpe and Helen “The Hellion” Daniels but came back to win two more before losing his last game to complete his 13 Pt. 6 W 112 Spread Card for second place.

 

 Carl “The Wiz” Schafer started out by being skunked in his first game by John “Rotten” Reed then coming back to win five in a row before losing two more then winning his last one to finish out his 12 Pt. 6 W 59 Spread Card for third place money.

 

Shirley “Buzz Saw” Guest also managed to score points tonight with her 12 Pt 5 W 54 Spread card skunking both Helen “The Hellion” Daniels in her seventh one and  “Easy” Ed Baustian in her eighth game to collect fourth place money.

SPECIAL POOLS

 

      Dick “The Grumbler” Taylor found the Crib Flush. Carl “The Wiz” Schaefer was the first one to catch the Raggedy Andy which opened up all of the pools. Then Pat “Driller           Jungmann caught another Raggedy Andy so all of the rest of the special hands are open for this coming week.

 

  28/29  POOL

 

            One attempt to drain the pool tonight as “Trooper” Tom Varnell held a J and three 5’s but only managed to cut a 7 for no help. The pool is capped at $511.00 for now.

 

 Skunk Fund

 

             The skunk fund was not so prosperous tonight. It received only $1.25 by the end of the evening. WE STILL THANK ALL OF YOU!!
