EVENT HAPPENINGS

Zeke “Da Zappa” Blocklinger started off the night losing his first game then winning five games in a row skunking  “Bad Betty” Morehouse in game five before losing two games but winning his last game to complete his 13 Pt. 6 W 28 Spread Card for first place money.

J.R. “The Spoiler” Cast had a good night after losing his first game then winning three in a row, then alternated losing and winning but came back to win his last two  to complete his 12 Pt. 6 W 55 Spread Card for second place.

John “Rotten” Reed started out by losing his first four games then coming back to win five in a row skunking “Saweet Johnny” Hensley along the way to finish out his 11 Pt. 5 W 56 Spread Card for third place money but no points.

Dick “The Grumbler” Taylor was unable to put together any kind of a winning streak but managed to skunk Shirley “Buzz Saw” Guest in his last game to collect fourth place honors only with an 11 Pt 5 W 18 Spread card.

SPECIAL POOLS

John “Rotten” Reed found the Crib Flush tonight in his first game. It is now closed along with the Raggedy Andy which was taken last week. All of the other special hands are still open.

  28/29  POOL

One attempt to drain the pool tonight as “Saweet” Johnny Hensley held a J and three 5’s but only managed to cut a K for no help. Had the 5 of Spades been cut it would have been a 29 hand. The pool is capped at $511.00 for now.

 Skunk Fund

The skunk fund was not so prosperous tonight. It received only $0.75 by the end of the evening. WE STILL THANK ALL OF YOU!!

DIRECTOR’S NOTE

Zeke "Da Zappa" Blocklinger was the head judge tonight, thanks for your help.
