EVENT HAPPENINGS
John “Rotten” Reed started off the night losing his first game then winning five games in a row skunking “Devil” Dean Van Donge in game four before losing to Dick “The Grumbler” Taylor but winning his last two games to complete his 15 Pt. 7 W 122 Spread Card for first place money.
Dick “The Grumbler” Taylor had a good night skunking “Captain” Jack Stemmer in his first game then losing two in a row. He then came back to win the next four and skunked “Bad Betty” Morehouse in the process before splitting his last two to complete his 14 Pt. 6 W 55 Spread Card for second place.
Shirley “Buzz Saw” Guest got stuck with groups of three tonight. She won her first three, lost her next three then won her last three also skunking “Captain” Jack Stemmer along the way to complete her 13 Pt. 6 W 86 Spread Card for third place money.
Pat “Driller” Jungmann was unable to put together any kind of a winning streak but managed to skunk J.R. “The Spoiler” Cast and “Devil” Dean Van Donge to collect fourth place honors and points but no cash with a 12 Pt 5 W 33 Spread card.

SPECIAL POOLS
The Crib Flush and the Raggedy Andy are now closed but the other special hands are still open as none were taken tonight.
28/29
Four attempts to drain the pool tonight as “Captain” Jack Stemmer held a Q and three 5’s but only managed to cut a 2 for no help. Next try was Shirley “Buzz Saw” Guest with a 10 and 3 5’s cutting only a 4. Along came Dick “The Grumbler” Taylor with 3 5’s and a J, an 8 cut didn’t help. The last one being J.R. “The Spoiler” Cast holding 3 5’s and a K this time a J was cut still not helping. The pool is capped at $511.00 for now.
Skunk Fund
The skunk fund was a little more prosperous
tonight. It received only $1.50 by the end of the evening. WE STILL THANK
DIRECTOR’S NOTE
Zeke "Da Zappa" Blocklinger was the head judge
tonight, thanks for your help.
