"Sweety" managed to get her exercise this final night of the season. She visited five different persons tonight starting with Pat “Driller” Jungmann in his game four. Next came Zeke “Da Zappa” Blocklinger in game six then back to “Driller” in game seven. Along came Dick “The Grumbler Taylor in game eight and thought he had her to keep but Helen “The Hellion” Daniels snatched her away in game nine and then very shortly Shirley “Buzz Saw” Guest latched on to her in her game nine to collect the 24 Hand Pot.
EVENT HAPPENINGS
J.R. “The Spoiler” Cast started off the night losing his first game then winning three games in a row before losing again to John “Rotten” Reed in game five then winning his last four games to complete his 14 Pt. 7 W 13 Spread Card for first place money.
Pat “Driller” Jungmann had an ok night skunking Helen “The Hellion” Daniels and “Saweet” Johnny Hensley but was unable to string more than two wins together at a time all night to complete his 14 Pt. 6 W 86 Spread Card for second place.
John “Rotten” Reed bounced back and forth his first three games before stringing together five in a row then losing his last one to complete his 12 Pt. 6 W 54 Spread Card for third place money.
“Old # 1” Martin Hellberg was unable to put together any kind of a winning streak but managed to skunk “Easy” Ed Baustian to collect fourth place honors but no points or cash with an 11 Pt 5 W 32 Spread card.

SPECIAL POOLS
The Wheel was taken by “Bad” Betty Morehouse and the Raggedy Ann was cut for John “Rotten” Reed and last but not least the 23 Hand was found by “Saweet” Johnny Hensley which means all of the special hands will be open when the season starts in the fall.
28/29
No attempts to drain the pool tonight
so the pool will still be capped at $511.00
when we resume play in the fall. There were no 28 or 29 hands this
whole season.
Skunk Fund
The skunk fund was not so prosperous
tonight. It received only $1.00 by the end of the evening. WE STILL THANK
DIRECTOR’S NOTE
Zeke "Da Zappa" Blocklinger was the head judge
tonight, thanks for your help.
