Ms. Sweety made up for the last few club nights by jumping around quite a few times.  She had one particular player that she seemed to be attached to....  Carl "The Wizard" Schaefer saw two 24 hands in the 3rd game against Helen "The Hellion" Daniels.  If I had to guess, I am sure that this was the major reason for Carl beating Helen by a whopping 78 points!  Ms. Sweety headed Wayne "Super Trooper" Von Clasen's direction in Game 4.  Jim "Teacher" Duff had the last laugh in Game 3 when Ms. Sweety changed sides of the table....Jim scored a 24 while playing Wayne.  Carl "The Wizard" Schaefer scored his third 24 on the evening in Game 8.  Helen "The Hellion" Daniels had a huge smile on her face when she declared a 24 in Game 9 (she took Ms. Sweety from Carl who had two 24's in Game 3 against Helen) and took home $14 for her efforts.

EVENT HAPPENINGS

First
was Dewayne "Big E" Eisenbarth who turned in a 13 Gm Pt, 6 W, +91 Sprd Pts card.  Dwayne started the night with a win and then a close loss.  He put together a 4 game win streak in Games 3 ,4, 5, and 6.  The first two wins were by 2 and 3 points and the last win in the streak was a skunk!  He went on to loose 2 out of the last 3 games and left the evening up for grabs!  Fortunately he had the highest spread point out of the group of 13 point cards and took home $50 for his efforts.  Good job Dewayne!

Second was Pat "Driller" Jungmann who turned in a 13 Gm Pt, 6 W, +81 Sprd Pts card.  Pat started the evening off hot, he won 4 straight games including a skunk in Game 2.  He then lost a pair of games by 12 points each.  He was sitting at 9 points after 6 games and got things in order to win 2 of the last 3 games of the night to finish a close 10 spread points behind Dewayne.  Good job Pat!

Third was Martin "Ole #1" Hellberg who turned in a 13 Gm Pt, 6 W, +59 Sprd Pts card.  Martin quickly got up to 6 points to start the night after winning the first 3 games including a close Game 3 (2 points) against David "Da Boz" Bosley.  He then came up against a hot Dewayne "Big E" Eisenbarth, Dewayne won the match by 3 points.  If Martin would have won that game he would have taken 1st Place on the evening.  Martin lost Game 5 to "Bad" Betty Morehouse but then went on the offensive and won 3 of the last 4 games including a skunk in Game 8.  Good job Martin!

Fourth was Jim "Teacher" Duff who turned in a 13 Gm Pt, 6 W, +23 Sprd Pts card.  Jim started off a little slow, he lost the first 2 games by 26 and 33 points respectively.  Obviously angry at the card karma....he went on a big win streak by winning 6 straight including a skunk in Game 6.  With 13 points headed into the last game, Jim came up against Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest.  Jim lost a close game but went on to record the 4th 13 point card on the evening.  Good job Jim!
