12 Players came out to do some peggin'.....a few familiar faces ended up in the payout positions. Pat "Driller" Jungmann turned in a monster 18 point card to take 1st Place. Martin "Ole #1" Hellberg, Fred Tippett (Guest) and Jim "Teacher" Duff rounded out the top four. Pat, Martin, and Jim were all in the winners circle last week also!

Ms. Sweety started out by heading John "Rotten" Reed's direction by an unusual crib 24.....it didn't help John win the game because Wayne "Super Trooper" Von Clasen counted out on John. John apparently wanted to solidify his hold on Ms. Sweety....he scored a 24 in Game 2 against John "Saweet" Hensley. It was Wayne's turn to smile at John "Rotten" Reed again in Game 5 when he declared a 24 and took Ms. Sweety from John's tightly clutched hand. I am guessing that John wanted to change Wayne's nickname to @!*# at this point in the evening. Pat "Driller" Jungmann persuaded Ms. Sweety to sit with him for the rest of the night when he held onto a 24 against "Bad" Betty Morehouse, Pat added insult to injury by going on to skunk her. Pat took home $12 for his skill cards.
EVENT HAPPENINGS
First was
Pat "Driller" Jungmann who turned in a 18 Gm Pt, 8 W, +135 Sprd Pts card.
Pat was on fire from start to finish. His only blemish was in Game 8
against Fred Tippett (Guest). Pat won his games by an average of 19
points a game. The closest game was a win by 5 points, all others were 10
points or more. Good job Pat, keep up the good peggin'!
Second was Martin "Ole #1" Hellberg who turned in a 13 Gm Pt, 6 W, +65 Sprd Pts card. Martin had an up and down evening, he probably thought he was out of it by the beginning of Game 6....he had 2 wins and 3 losses at that point. Martin put together a 4 game winning streak including a skunk in Game 9 against "Bad" Betty Morehouse. Good job Martin!
Third was Fred Tippett (Guest) who
turned in a 12 Gm Pt, 6 W, +82 Sprd Pts
card. Fred started the evening with 5 straight wins but then came up
against "Lethal" Lisa Duff. Lisa lived up to her nickname and handed Fred
his first loss of the night. Things didn't get any better for Fred, he
went on to lose 2 of the last 3 games. His last loss of the night came
from Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest....his sister. Good job Fred, come back any
time (just don't win again)!
Fourth
was
Jim "Teacher" Duff who turned in a 12
Gm Pt, 6 W, +20 Sprd Pts card. This is Jim's second week in a row in 4th
position. He too started off hot by winning 4 straight games. He
then played David "Da Boz" Bosley who showed Jim how to put a red star on Jim's
card. Jim then switched chairs to find out his next opponent was Carl
"Wizard" Schaefer. Needless to say, the Wizard cast a spell on Jim and Jim
didn't have a chance. Probably glad he was through the worst of it, Jim
went on to win 2 of the last 3 games for 4th place on the night. Good job
Jim!
