"Bad" Betty Morehouse regains her solitary fourth place standing by
taking first place with a 14 Pt 6 W 70 Spread card. Pat "Driller" Jungmann edges closer to first place by coming in second tonight with a 13 Pt. 6 W 26 Spread card. Third place money went to "Captain" Jack Stemmer with a 12 Pt. 6 W 72 Spread card. John "Rotten" Reed sneaks into fourth place edging out Dick "The Grumbler" Taylor by six points with his 12 Pt 6 W 36 Spread Card. Dick "The Grumbler" Taylor also scored with his 12 Pt. 6 W 30 spread card but no cash.

"Sweety" had a long nap
between games as John "Rotten" Reed grabbed her in the first game holding
two 4's and two 6's and cutting a 5 for the first 24 of the young evening. All
was quiet until game six when Jim "The Teach" Duff called out for her but didn't manage to hold her for very long as Pat
"Driller" Jungmann also got his 24 hand in his game six and there she
rested until Pat collected $14.00 at the end of the evening.
EVENT HAPPENINGS
"Bad " Betty Morehouse started off losing her first game to "Saweet" Johnny Hensley. She won her next two skunking Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest along the way before being skunked herself by "Trooper" Tom Varnell. she recovered her composure and ran off three more winners including a skunk on Helen "The Hellion" Daniels before losing to second place finisher Pat "Driller" Jungmann and winning her last to complete her 14 Pt. 6 W 70 Spread card and first place money tonight.
Pat "Driller" Jungmann made up a little ground on first place "Saweet" Johnny tonight but started off badly losing his first two games. He managed a comeback and won four straight before losing to Jim "The Teach" Duff in his game seven He came back to win his last two games for a 13 Pt 6 W 26 Spread
cards and second place finish.
"Captain" Jack Stemmer collect points and cash tonight finishing third with a 12 Pt. 6 W 72 Spread card. He also started off badly losing his first two games but recovered to win two before his loss to "Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest but then managed to run through his last four opponents to complete his 12 Pt 6 W 72 Spread card.
John "Rotten" Reed managed to win his first two games but then bounced back and forth between losing and winning and still managed to pull together a 12 Pt. 6 W 36 Spread card to collect fourth place money and points tonight.

action reported this evening on the only pool open, the crib flush.
28/29 POOL
"Bad" Betty Morehouse added to her
first place money tonight by cutting the fourth 5 tonight in her second game of
the evening for her 28 hand. Afterwards "Trooper" Tom Varnell
tried to duplicate her feat in his game five holding a J and 3 5's
but only managed to cut another J for a nice 22 hand.
SKUNK FUND
The skunk fund was a little more prosperous tonight. It received
$1.75 by the end of the evening, WE THANK ALL OF YOU!!
