"Sweety" took the night off
this evening as no one person was able to take her for a ride with a 24
hand. So the $14 will carry over to the week of Feb 14 as next
week will be dark as some of our members will be attending tournaments in Reno.
EVENT HAPPENINGS
"Bad" Betty started off the evening again losing her first two games then went on a tear putting together five straight wins before she lost to "Captain" Jack Stemmer. She recovered to win her last game and knock "Old #1" Martin Hellberg out of the money and points race to finish with a 12 Pt. 6 W 35 Spread card and first place money tonight.
Jim "The Teach" Duff was hanging around to see if his 12 Pt. 6 W 17 Spread card would hold up for first place tonight as there were three people sitting with 10 Pt. cards and capable of finishing with 12 Pt. ones. One person pulled it off so he had to settle for a second place finish.
Ken Cochlin visited us tonight from Tri Cities to see if he could carry off some cash tonight. He did finishing third with an 11 Pt. 5 W 49 Spread card. He left without his winnings thinking an. 11 Pt. card would not collect anything but it was and he will be given his winnings.
.
"Lethal" Lisa Duff lost her first game then bounced back and won the next three before losing and winning and still managed to pull together an 11 Pt. 5 W 20 Spread card to collect fourth place money but no points tonight.

SPECIAL POOLS
John
"Rotten" Reed opened up the pools tonight with the Crib Flush in his
second game. "Bad" Betty Morehouse added to her first place money
tonight hitting the Raggedy Ann. "Rotten" had an unusual
streak of cards tonight hitting the 23 hand in his game 8 and then
picking up The Wheel in his crib in game 9. This leaves the
Crib Flush and the Raggedy Andy available to win when we return to
regular play.
28/29 POOL
"Bad" Betty Morehouse
reported the only tries
for a 28 hand
tonight holding 3 5's and a 10 but only cut a 3 in her game three. The other attempt
came in her game nine when she held 3 5's and a 10 but only cut an
A for no help at all to this hand.
The skunk fund was almost
bare tonight. It received
only $.75 by the end of the evening but, WE STILL THANK ALL OF YOU!!
DIRECTOR’S NOTE
"Lethal" Lisa Duff was the head judge tonight, thanks for your help.
