      Dave “Da Boz” Bosley added to his point total taking first place this evening with his 14 Pt. 6 W 69 Spread card. Don “Curly” Russell joined the points race tonight finishing in second place with a 13 Pt. 6 W 36 Spread card. “Old #1” Martin Hellberg collected third place money tonight with his 12 Pt. 6 W 26 Spread card. John “Rotten” Reed took fourth place honors but no money collected with his 12 Pt 6 W 6 Spread card.

     "Sweety" moved around this evening after relaxing all of last week.  First she visited Pat “Driller” Jungmann in his game one. Then moved to J.R. “The Spoiler” Cast in game two. Her next move was to “Captain” Jack Stemmer where she stayed through his fourth and fifth games before returning to J.R. “The Spoiler” Cast in his game eight so he could collect the $25.00 for the last 24 Hand Pot.

 

EVENT HAPPENINGS 

 

       Dave “Da Boz” Bosley started off tonight winning his first four games in a row before losing his next two and being skunked by Zeke “Da Zappa” Blocklinger. He came back to skunk J.R. “The Spoiler” Cast and John “Rotten” Reed in two of his last three games to complete his 14 Pt 6 W 69 Spread Card for first place money.

 

      Don “Curly” Russell joined in the money and points race tonight finishing second by stringing together three wins in the beginning of his card skunking John “Rotten” Reed in his second game, losing two in the middle and winning three of his last four to complete his 13 Pt 6 W 36 Spread Card.

 

  “Old#1” Martin Hellberg couldn’t win more than two games in a row all night but that was good enough to allow him to finish in third place and maintain his hold on first place in the club and complete his 12 Pt 6 W 34 Spread Card for third place money.

 

    John “Rotten" Reed had an off and on night getting skunked twice but managed to win four in the middle of his card to collect fourth place honors and points but no money with his 12 Pt 6 W 6 Spread Card.

SPECIAL POOLS

 

 . “Captain” Jack Stemmer found the Wheel tonight so the other four special hands are still available for next week’s session.

 

 

  28/29 POOL

 

           Two persons tried unsuccessfully to drain the pool tonight. J.R. “The Spoiler” Cast tried with a K and three 5’s but came up short with just a J. “Old #1” Martin Hellberg tried for a 29 hand with a J and three 5’s but only found an 8 with the cut. The pool is capped at $511.00.

 

 Skunk Fund

 

             The skunk fund was not so prosperous tonight. It received only $1.75 by the end of the evening. WE STILL THANK ALL OF YOU!!
