      John “Rotten” Reed moved into first place in the club by taking first place this evening with his 16 Pt. 7 W 152 Spread card. Mike “Mr. Quiznos” Clapper upped his points total tonight finishing in second place with a 14 Pt. 7 W 38 Spread card. Carl “The Wizard” Schaefer collected third place money tonight with his 13 Pt. 6 W 73 Spread card. Shirley “Buzz Saw” Guest took fourth place honors but no money collected with her 12 Pt 6 W 29 Spread card. “Saweet Johnny” Hensley also added to his points total this evening with another 12 Pt. 5 W 67 Spread Card.

     "Sweety" only make a couple of visits tonight. First she visited with “Saweet Johnny” Hensley in his game one and stayed there until Pat “Driller” Jungmann called for her in his game four. She was quite happy to remain there for the rest of the evening so he could collect the $12.00 for the last 24 Hand Pot.

 

EVENT HAPPENINGS 

 

      John “Rotten" Reed started off tonight winning his first two games in a row then lost his third but came back to win three more skunking Don “Curly” Russell. He lost one more but finished the evening by winning his last two, skunking “Saweet Johnny” Hensley in his last one to complete his 16 Pt 7 W 152 Spread Card for first place money.

 

      Mike “Mr. Quiznos” Clapper got back into the money and points race tonight finishing second by stringing together four wins in the beginning of his card before John “Rotten” Reed beat him in his fifth game. He did manage to win three of his last four in spite of a skunk by “Saweet Johnny” Hensley to complete his 14 Pt 7 W 38 Spread Card.

 

 Carl “The Wizard” Schaefer won his first three games but then split his last six games by winning three and losing three games but that was good enough to allow him to finish in third place and complete his 13 Pt 6 W 73 Spread Card for third place money.

 

    Shirley “Buzz Saw” Guest had an off and on night not being able to win more than two games in a row all night but still managed to win enough games  to collect fourth place honors and points but no money with her 12 Pt 6 W 29 Spread Card.

 

     “Saweet Johnny” Hensley won four of his last five games skunking both J.R. Cast and Mike “Mr. Quiznos” Clapper before being skunked by John “Rotten” Reed in his last game to put together his 12 Pt 5 W 67 Spread card  to add to his point total this season.

SPECIAL POOLS

 

           .Dick “The Grumbler” Taylor found the Raggedy Ann tonight which leaves three other special hands still available for next week’s session.

 

 

  28/29 POOL

 

           Three persons tried unsuccessfully to drain the pool tonight. J.R. “The Spoiler” Cast tried with a 10 and three 5’s but came up short with just a 2. Don 1`1    “Curly” Russell tried with a J and three 5’s but only found a 2 with the cut. “Saweet Johnny Hensley also tried with a J and three 5’s but came up short with only a 10. The pool is capped at $511.00.

 

 Skunk Fund

 

             The skunk fund was a little more prosperous tonight. It received $2.00 by the end of the evening. WE STILL THANK ALL OF YOU!!
