       “Saweet Johnny” Hensley captured first place this evening with his 15 Pt. 7 W 115 Spread card. Carl “The Wizard” Schaefer upped his points total tonight finishing in second place with another 15 Pt. 7 W 68 Spread card. Shirley “Buzz Saw” Guest collected third place money tonight with her 14 Pt. 6 W 96 Spread card. Zeke “Da Zappa” Blocklinger took fourth place money with his 14 Pt 6 W 61 Spread card. “Trooper” Tom Varnell also added to his points total this evening with a 13 Pt. 6 W 26 Spread Card.

     "Sweety" got her exercise this evening  visiting six different persons. She started the evening with Zeke “Da Zappa” Blocklinger  in his second game. Then jumped over to “Old # 1” Martin Hellberg’s buggy but only for one game as “Trooper” Tom Varnell  snatched her in game four. No rest for her as Jeanette Cast assumed possession for just one game five as Zeke grabbed her back in his game six. She rested for two games until Helen “The Hellion” Daniels took her away in her game eight but couldn’t hang on as Carl “The Wizard” Schaefer stole her away in his game nine so he could collect the $16.00 for the last 24 Hand Pot.

 

EVENT HAPPENINGS 

 

      “Saweet Johnny” Hensley started off tonight winning his first three games before losing his fourth but came back to win four of his last five skunking “Captain” Jack Stemmer in his nest to last one to complete his 15 Pt 7 W 115 Spread Card for first place money.

 

      Carl “The Wizard” Schaefer continued in the money and points race tonight finishing second by stringing together three wins in the beginning of his card before Dave “Da Boz” Bosley skunked him in his fourth game. He also won four of his last five games to complete another 15 Pt 7 W 68 Spread Card.

 

       Shirley “Buzz Saw” Guest won her first two games skunking Mike “Mr. Quiznos” Clapper but lost her next two. She won the next but lost her sixth before sweeping her last three games and skunking “Trooper” Tom Varnell in her last game to finish in third place and complete her 14 Pt 6 W 96 Spread Card for third place money.

 

        Zeke “Da Zappa” Blocklinger started off the night skunking “Captain” Jack Stemmer in his first game but the favor was returned by Don “Curly” Russell in his game three. He came back  to win four straight skunking Jeanette Cast before losing his last two but still managed to collect fourth place money with his 14 Pt 6 W 61 Spread Card.

 

     “Trooper” Tom Varnell won five games before losing two in a row but came back to skunk “Old # 1” Martin Hellberg but lost his last game by a skunk to Shirley “Buzz Saw” Guest to put together his 13 Pt 6 W 26 Spread card  to add to his point total this season.

SPECIAL POOLS

 

           “Saweet Johnny” Hensley found the Crib Flush tonight which leaves the Raggedy Andy and the 23 Hand as the only special hands still available for next week’s session.

 

 

  28/29 POOL

 

           Only one person tried unsuccessfully to drain the pool tonight. “Captain” Jack Stemmer tried with a K and three 5’s but came up short with just a 2. The pool is capped at $511.00.

 

 Skunk Fund

 

             The skunk fund was a lot more prosperous tonight. It received $3.25 by the end of the evening. WE STILL THANK ALL OF YOU!!
