       Carl “The Wizard” Schaefer captured first place this evening with his 16 Pt. 8 W 88 Spread card. Susan “Little Red” Hall added to her points total tonight finishing in second place with a 14 Pt. 7 W 74 Spread card. Mike “Mr. Quiznos” Clapper collected third place money tonight with another 14 Pt. 7 W 57 Spread card. Pat “Driller” Jungmann took fourth place money with his 14 Pt. 7 W 33 Spread card. John “Rotten” Reed maintained first place in the club with a 13 Pt. 5 W 125 Spread Card. Don “Curly” Russell upped his total points with a 12 Pt. 6 W -29 Spread Card Dave “Da Boz” Bosley added to his point total with a 12 Pt 5 W 88 Spread Card.

"Sweety" got her exercise again this evening  visiting six different persons. She started the evening with John “Rotten” Reed in his first game. Then was grabbed by Shirley “Buzz Saw” Guest in her game three. Mike “Mr. Quiznos” Clapper snatched her in his game five. No rest for her as Helen “The Hellion” Daniels assumed possession of  her in game six

where she rested until Susan “Little Red” Hall  stole her away in her game nine but she finally came to rest in the hands of  Dick “The Grumbler” Taylor in his last game so he could collect the $16.00 for the last 24 Hand Pot.

 

EVENT HAPPENINGS 

 

      Carl “The Wizard” Schaefer started off tonight winning his first game and losing his second but came back to remain undefeated the rest of the evening to complete his 16 Pt 8 W 88 Spread Card for first place money.

 

      Susan “Little Red” Hall upped her point total tonight finishing second by stringing together four wins in the beginning of her card before losing her fifth game. She came back to win three of her last four games to complete the first 14 Pt 7 W 74 Spread Card.

 

       Mike “Mr. Quiznos” Clapper lost his first game but turned it around and won five in a row before losing again. He won his last two games to finish in third place and complete another 14 Pt 7 W 57 Spread Card for third place money.

 

        Pat “Driller” Jungmann started off the night winning his first four games. He managed to win three of his last five games to complete yet another 14 Pt 7 W 33 Spread Card to collect fourth place money.

 

     John “Rotten” Reed started off by skunking Dick “The Grumbler” Taylor  in game one then lost his next two before turning it around and managing to skunk  Helen “The Hellion” Daniels in game five and “Captain” Jack Stemmer in his last game to put together his 13 Pt 5 W 126 Spread Card  to maintain first place in club points.

 

    Don “Curly” Russell had and on and off night, winning his first and getting skunked in his second by “Saweet Johnny” Hensley, then bounced back and forth but still managed to add to his point total with a 12 Pt. 6 W -29 Spread Card.

 

    Dave “Da Boz” Bosley  also upped his point total tonight skunking Zeke “Da Zappa” Blocklinger in his first game then losing three in a row before coming back for four wins skunking Dick “The Grumbler” Taylor and losing his last game to complete his 12 Pt. 5 W 88 Spread Card.

SPECIAL POOLS

 

           Susan “Little Red” Hall found the Raggedy Andy tonight which leaves the 23 Hand as the only special hand still available for next week’s session.

 

 

  28/29 POOL

 

           Only one person tried unsuccessfully to drain the pool tonight. Mike “Mr. Quiznos” Clapper tried with a J and three 5’s but came up short with just a K. The pool is capped at $511.00.

 

 Skunk Fund

 

             The skunk fund was not as prosperous tonight. It received only $2.00 by the end of the evening. WE STILL THANK ALL OF YOU!!
