Ms. Sweety was wore out from jumping around last week....she only visited two players tonight.  The first was John "Rotten" Reed who counted a 24 in the first game of the night against Martin "Ole #1" Hellberg "Trooper" Tom Varnell  lost a close Game 6 to John....Tom had the last laugh of the night when he held onto a 24 in Game 7 and took Ms. Sweety from John for a nifty $12.

EVENT HAPPENINGS

First
was John "Rotten" Reed who turned in a 15 Gm Pt, 7 W, +63 Sprd Pts card tonight.  John started off hot by nearly skunking Martin "Ole #1" Hellberg.  John went on to win the next two games by 4 points then 1 point.  John lost a close Game 4 to John "Saweet" Hensley by a meager 1 point.  John got back on the winning side of things by winning Games 5 and 6 by 2 and 3 points respectively.  He went on to win Games 7 and 8, including a skunk in Game 7.  John tried to finish the night with 5 straight wins but "Big" Willie Evans in the last game of the night and couldn't pull the win off....none the less John finished with a 15 point card and $46 for first place, good job John!

Second was Helen "Hellion" Daniels who turned in a 13 Gm Pt, 6 W, +81 Sprd Pts card.  Helen started off slow by losing the first game to "Bad" Betty Morehouse by 3 points.  Probably a little discouraged at that point, Helen put together a respectable 3 game win streak including a 2 point win over David "Da Boz" Bosley.  Sitting on cloud nine after beating the club champ.....she lost the next game by a close 2 points to John "Rotten" Reed.  Helen closed out the night by winning three out of the last four games including a skunk in Game 8 over John "Saweet" Hensley.  Martin slowed Helen down in the last game of the night by nearly skunking her.  Good job Helen!

Third was "Bad" Betty Morehouse who turned in a 13 Gm Pt, 6 W, +67 Sprd Pts card.  Betty got things going with a close game against Helen "The Hellion" Daniels and pulled out the win at the end by 3 points.  She went on to win one of the next three games.  Sitting a 2 wins and 2 losses at Game 4 she took matters into her own hands...she ended the evening by winning four of the last five games.  Her only loss in that stretch came by the hand of John "Rotten" Reed.  This is Betty's second week in a row in the top payout spots....keep up the good peggin!
