Shirley “Buzz Saw” Guest moved up to third place this evening making off with first place money with her 15 Pt. 7 W 85 Spread card. “Captain” Jack Stemmer slid into second place, finishing with another 15 Pt. 7 W 58 Spread card. Mike “Mr. Quiznos” Clapper grabbed third place money by coming with a 13 Pt. 6 W 78 Spread Card. Helen “The Hellion” Daniels collected fourth place money tonight with a 12 Pt. 6 W 13 Spread card. "Saweet Johnny" Hensley moved into the top five with another 12 Pt. 6 W -37 Spread Card.

"Sweety" was getting a little more exercise this evening visited only four different persons. She started the evening with “Saweet Johnny” Hensley in his game three. But he didn't even get to touch her as Susan “Little Red” Hall claimed her almost immediately. “Bad Betty ” Morehouse rejoined our group tonite and claimed Sweety in her game six but not for long as Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest laid claim to her in her game five. Along came Susan “Little Red” Hall and snatched her back is her game seven. But it was not to last as Carl "The Wizard" Schaefer took her in his game nine and thought he would keep her but in the end "Saweet Johnny" Hensley retook her in his game eight and managed to keep her for the rest of the evening to collect the $16.00 for the last 24 Hand Pot.

EVENT HAPPENINGS

Shirley “Buzz Saw” Guest starting off tonight winning her first three games, lost one and came back to skunk Don "Curly" Russell in game five. She lost one more but finished out the evening winning her last three games to complete her 15 Pt 7 W 85 Spread Card for first place money and move into third place in club standings.

“Captain” Jack Stemmer added to his point total tonight skunking John "Rotten" Reed in his first game while winning his first four games. He won three of his last five to complete his 15 Pt 7 W 58 Spread Card to finish in second place tonight.

Mike “Mr. Quiznos” Clapper won his first two games but lost his next two before coming back to win his next four and skunking “Old # 1” Martin Hellberg in his game six. He lost his last to finish with a 13 Pt 6 W 78 Spread Card for third place money and increased his second place point total.

Helen “The Hellion” Daniels started off the night losing her first game but rebounded and won her next six in a row. She lost her last two games still managing to complete her 12 Pt 6 W 13 Spread Card to collect fourth place money tonight.

"Saweet Johnny" Hensley moved into the top five tonight winning his first game, losing his second turning it around and winning the next five in a row before losing his last two to complete another 12 Pt. 6 W -37 Card.

SPECIAL POOLS

No one found the 23 Hand tonight which leaves it as the only special hand still available for next week’s session.

  28/29 POOL

One person tried unsuccessfully to drain the pool tonight. “Trooper” Tom Varnell tried with a Q and three 5’s but came up short with just another Q cut. The pool is capped at $511.00.

 Skunk Fund

             The skunk fund was not as prosperous tonight. It received only $2.00 by the end of the evening. WE STILL THANK ALL OF YOU!!
