Ms. Sweety had been saving her energy for the past few weeks for a night like tonight....she changed hands 9 times.  She started out by heading to "Trooper" Tom Varnell in Game 1.  She didn't stay with Tom too long before heading to Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest in Game 2.  Tom took things back into his own hands by counting his 2nd 24 of the night in Game 3...despite his 24 Tom was double skunked by Dewayne in this game!  David "Da Boz" Bosley got in on the action by holding onto a 24 in Game 4.  Tom apparently felt lonely without Ms. Sweety and decided to count his 3rd 24 of the night in Game 4.  Jim "Teacher" Duff held onto a 24 in Game 5.  John "Rotten" Reed counted his 24 of the night in Game 7.  Helen "The Hellion" Daniels had a 24 in Game 8.  Shirley became the second pegger to see Ms. Sweety for more than two times this evening by pegging a 24 in Game 9.  She received  $14 for her skill cards.

EVENT HAPPENINGS

First
was John "Rotten" Reed who turned in a 14 Gm Pt, 7 W, +47 Sprd Pts card tonight.  John started off a little rocky but finished strong.  He won his first game by 18 points but turned around and lost his second game by 50...  Apparently John was frustrated by his loss and put together a respectable 5 game win streak.  He lost a close Game 8 to "Lethal" Lisa Duff but beat Jim "Teacher" Duff in a close Game 9.  Good job John, keep up the good peggin!

Second was Dewayne "Big E" Eisenbarth who turned in a 14 Gm Pt, 6 W, +101 Sprd Pts card.  Dewayne started off in the wrong column by losing his first two games...He took things into his own hands and double skunked Tom in Game 3 starting a 5 game win streak.  Dewayne lost Game 8 to Jim "Teacher" Duff and won the final game of the night against Carl "The Wizard" Schaefer to finish in 2nd Place.  Good job Dewayne!

Third was John "Saweet" Hensley who turned in a 13 Gm Pt, 6 W, +90 Sprd Pts card.  John started off by winning the first two games including a close game against Dewayne "Big E" Eisenbarth and a skunk in Game 2 against John "Rotten" Reed.    He won two and lost two in the next four games including a close 1 point loss to "Trooper" Tom Varnell.    He went on  to win two of the final three games including a 5 point victory in the last game of the night to solidify his 3rd Place finish.  Good job John!

Fourth was Martin "Ole #1" Hellberg who turned in a 13 Gm Pt, 6 W, +39 Sprd Pts card.  Martin started off on the wrong foot by a first game loss.  He then went on a 5 game win streak including a skunk in Game 5 against Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest.  He was on cloud 9 at that point but the cribbage gods brought him back to reality with a loss (skunk) in Game 7 to "Trooper" Tom Varnell.  He wrapped up the evening with a win in Game 9 to slip into 4th Place.  Good job Martin!

HONORABLE MENTION

Carl "The Wizard" Schaefer turned in a 12 point, 6 win card tonight and was edged out for a payout positions.....adding salt to the wound he didn't get Grass Root Points either.  Sorry Carl, keep up the hard work!
