       J.R. "The Spoiler" Cast had a good evening claiming first place money with his 15 Pt. 7 W 97 Spread card. “Captain” Jack Stemmer captured second place, finishing with another 15 Pt. 6 W 102 Spread card. Don "Curly" Russell collected third place money tonight with a 14 Pt. 7 W 53 Spread card. “Wild” Willie Evans grabbed fourth place money with another 14 Pt. 6 W 108 Spread Card. Carl "The Wizard" Schaefer moved up to second place in club standings with his 13 Pt. 6 W 104 Spread Card and Jeanette Cast collected her first points of the season with a 12 Pt. 5 W 41 Spread Card.

      "Sweety" is still getting her exercise this evening visiting another five different persons. She started this evening with Carl "The Wizard" Schaefer in his game one. She stayed there until game three when Pat "Driller" Jungmann claimed her but not for long as Don “Curly” Russell also claimed her in his game three. He held her for only one game as "Captain" Jack Stemmer ran off with her in his game four with thoughts of collecting. But it was not to be as "Wild" Willie Evans claimed her is his game eight to collect the $16.00 for the last 24 Hand Pot.

 

EVENT HAPPENINGS 

 

              J.R. “The Spoiler” Cast starting off tonight winning his first five games skunking "Bad Betty" Morehouse in the process. He won two of his last four, the total loss in those two was only seven points to complete his 15 Pt 7 W 97 Spread Card for first place money.

 

              “Captain” Jack Stemmer won his first two games lost his third then won the next three by skunks on Dave "Da Boz" Bosley, John "Rotten" Reed and Susan "Little Red" Hall before another two losses being skunked by "Wild" Willie Evans. He won his last one and moved up to third place in the club by completing his 15 Pt 6 W 102 Spread Card to finish in second place tonight. 

      

                Don "Curly" Russell had and unusual evening losing his first and last games but winning all seven in between even collecting a 28 Hand in his game two. This gave him a 14 Pt 7 W 53 Spread Card for third place money.

 

               “Wild” Willie Evans had an on and off night winning his first two games losing his next two winning one and losing one. He did manage to win his last three in a row to complete his 14 Pt 6 W 108 Spread Card to collect fourth place money tonight.

 

               Carl "The Wizard" Schaefer managed to put together enough wins tonight even skunking his fiancé Susan "Little Red" Hall in his last win to complete a 13 Pt. 6 W 104 Spread Card and move up to second place in club standings tonight.

  

             Jeanette Cast lost her first three games getting skunked by "Saweet Johnny" Hensley in game two. She turned it around and won the next five skunking both Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest and Dave "DaBoz" Bosley before losing her last game but still managed to collect her first club points with a 12 Pt. 5 W 41 Spread Card.

     SPECIAL POOLS

 

            John "Rotten" Reed found the Raggedy Ann tonight which leaves the other four special hands for our next session.

 

 

     28/29 POOL

 

           The pool got partially drained tonight. Don "Curly" Russell was dealt a 10 and three 5's in his game two and the fourth 5 was cut to award him $255.00. He treated everyone to a round of refreshments afterwards. Two more attempts to further drain the pool were made by "Captain" Jack Stemmer with a J and three 5's and Mike "Mr. Quiznos" Clapper with a 10 and three 5's and in both instances only a 7 was cut.  The pool now stands at $255.00.

 

     Skunk Fund

 

             The skunk pot stamps were very busy and the fund became very prosperous tonight. It received $3.75 by the end of the evening. WE STILL THANK ALL OF YOU!! !!
