"Easy" Ed Baustian rolled in the dough tonight by coming in first place with a 15 Pt. 7 W 83 Spread card. He also was the proud owner of "Sweety" at the end of the evening. "Trooper" Tom Varnell was second with a 14 Pt. 7W 97 Spread card. "Saweet" Johnny Hensley in third place with a 13Pt. 6W 10 Spread card cut down on "Drillers" lead in the race for club Champion.

"Sweety" had most of the
night to relax as "Jumpin' " Jack Stemmer waited until his seventh game
to claim her. But he only managed to hold her for a couple hands before
"Easy" Ed Baustian hollered for her in his seventh game. He turned
right around in his next game and laid claim to her again to keep her for the
rest of the evening.
EVENT HAPPENINGS
"Easy" Ed Baustian started off the evening winning his first game but losing his second. He came back to win his third and then lost his fourth. Finally getting his act together he went on to finish his card with five straight wins and first place with a 15 Pt 7 W 83 Spread even skunking the club leader "Driller" along the way.
"Trooper" Tom Varnell got into the money and win column tonight finishing second with his 14 Pt. 7 Win Card. He started off strong winning five straight before meeting third place winner "Saweet Johnny" for his first loss. He recovered to win his next one then lost to "The Spoiler" but managed to win his last one of the evening.
"Saweet" Johnny Hensley
got back into the money and points race finishing third with his13 Pt.
6W card. He lost his 1st game then ran off six straight skunking "Bad" Betty
in the process before coming up against "Old #1" Marty and then
"Rotten" finished him off with a skunk for his third place finish tonight.

SPECIAL POOLS
The Wheel remains to be paid out before all the pools can be reopened.
28/29 POOL
Two
people had a shot at a 28 hand tonight. Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest
had 3 5's and a J but only
came up with a K for no help for the money but a nice 20 hand in game 5.
"Saweet" Johnny Hensley had
three 5's and a face and cut an 8
again for no help. The Pool stands at $341.00.
SKUNK FUND
The skunk fund was not so good tonight. It received only $1.00
