"Saweet" Johnny Hensley accomplished two firsts tonight by coming in in first place with a 14 Pt. 7 W 103 Spread card. He also assumed first place in the club race overtaking Pat Jungmann tonight. Jim "Teach Duff coming back again in the points race was second with a  13 Pt. 6W 47 Spread card. Jeremy Morris dropped by for a visit while in town and took with him third place money with a 12 Pt. 6W 60 Spread card. In fourth place for the money but no points was "Easy " Ed Baustian with his 10 Pt. 5 W 37 Spread card

     "Sweety"  has gotten very lazy lately . She only moves to one or two players for the whole evening. She did the same thing again tonight when she went to Pat "Driller" Jungmann in his 4th game with a 24 in his crib in the last hand of the that game against "Old#1" Marty.  There she rested for the rest of the evening with Pat

 

  EVENT HAPPENINGS

                                                                                                                                                                                     

           "Saweet" Johnny Hensley started off the evening winning his first four games but then fell down and lost two in a row. He came back to win his last three games to finish his card for first place with a 14 Pt 7 W 103 Spread.

       

         Jim "Teach" Duff  got into the money and points race tonight finishing second with his 13 Pt. 6 Win Card. He started off  winning three straight before meeting up with two of the ladies of the club Helen "The Hellion" Daniels and  "Bad" Betty Morehouse which cost him two games. He recovered to win his next three then lost his last one to the new club leader "Saweet Johnny".

            

       Jeremy Morris, in town for a visit  took some money and points with him finishing third with his12 Pt. 6W card. He lost his first two games then ran off five straight wins before losing to our newest member "Jumpin' " Jack Stemmer. He recovered and won his last one against Dick " The Grumbler" Taylor.

 

       "Easy" Ed Baustian was in the money for the second week in a row but no points by only scoring a 10 Pt 5 W card for fourth place money.

SPECIAL POOLS
               

        In an oddity happening tonight The Wheel was claimed by "Easy" Ed Baustian in his second game which opened all of the pools again. Along came Pat "Driller " Jungmann in his third game and claimed The Wheel again. Not to be outdone Jim "Teach" Duff also got one in his game four but received no money for it. To add to the fun John "Rotten" Reed also managed to claim a Wheel hand in his game eight again getting no money for it. In between though in his game seven  "Rotten" did grab the 23 hand money. "Old #1" Martin Hellberg also managed to snag the  Raggedy Ann in Game four to leave just the  Raggedy Andy and the Crib Flush as the only two remaining pools left this evening

 

   28/29  POOL 

 
         
  Two people had a shot at a 28 hand tonight. Jim "Teach" Duff
had 3 5's and a 10 but only came up with a 7 for no help for the money in his first game of the evening. "Bad" Betty Morehouse  had three 5's and a Jack and cut an King for no help but a nice 20 count hand. The Pool stands at $355.00.


SKUNK FUND         

          The skunk fund went begging tonight. It received only $.50 by the end of the evening, WE THANK ALL OF YOU!!
