       "Old # 1" Martin Hellberg was on a roll tonight taking first place money with his 15 Pts. 7 W 110 Spread card.  “Farmer” Jim Harpe captured second place by finishing with his 12 Pt. 6 W 12 Spread. "Captain" Jack Stemmer collected third place money with the only other 12 Pt. 5 W 38 Spread card. J.R. "The Spoiler" Cast was awarded fourth place honors with a 10 Pt. 5 W 60 Spread Card.

      "Sweety" was a little more active this rainy evening visiting five different persons. She started this evening with Mike "Mr. Quiznos" Clapper in his game four. She stayed for a short visit until "Farmer" Jim Harpe grabbed her in his game four. That only lasted for one game as “Trooper" Tom Varnell took her away in his game five and held on until game nine when  Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest  took her away but only got to touch her as  John "Rotten" Reed immediately claimed her in his game eight to collect the $10.00 for the last 24 Hand Pot.

 

EVENT HAPPENINGS 

 

              “Old # 1 ” Martin Hellberg starting off tonight skunking "Captain" Jack Stemmer and winning his first two lost his third then came back to win five of his last six games  to complete his 15 Pt 7 W 110 Spread Card for first place money.

 

               “Farmer” Jim Harpe started by losing his first game won the next one then lost again but then won the next three, before another loss but managed to win his last two to complete his 12 Pt 6 W 12 Spread Card to finish in second place tonight. 

      

               "Captain" Jack Stemmer lost his first two games won his next two skunking "Farmer" Jim Harpe then lost another two before coming back to win his last three games skunking "Bad Betty" Morehouse to give him a 12 Pt 5 W 38 Spread card for third place money.

 

               J.R. "The Spoiler" Cast won his first game lost the next two and bounced back and forth winning and losing while completing his 10 Pt. 5 W 60 Spread card to collect fourth place honors only tonight.

 

             We had a guest play with us tonight Royal Hansen who also finished with a 10 Pt. Card  and the possibility of joining the club as a new Member.

     SPECIAL POOLS

 

            No special hands were found tonight which leaves the other three special hands for our next session.

 

 

     28/29 POOL

 

         No attempts reported tonight to drain the pool.  The pool now stands at $265.00.

 

     Skunk Fund

 

             The skunk pot stamps were quiet and the fund was not as prosperous tonight. It received only $.50 by the end of the evening. WE STILL THANK ALL OF YOU!! !!
