          Pat “Driller” Jungmann took no prisoners tonight with a Grand Slam 20 Pt. 9 W 157 Spread card. John “Rotten” Reed was close behind in second place tonight with a 17 Pt. 8 W 104 Spread card.  Zeke “Da Zappa” Blocklinger finished in third with a 13 Pt. 5 W 44 Spread card. Shirley “Buzz Saw” Guest finished in fourth place with a 10 Pt. 5 W -13 Spread Card.

              "Sweety" decided to rest up for the New Year and stayed on the table all night without budging. So the $12.00 will be added to next weeks last 24 Hand Pot.

                                                                                                       

EVENT HAPPENINGS 

 

               Pat “Driller” Jungmann took off running  tonight and never quit skunking Dave “Da Boz” Bosley in his fourth game and Don “Curly” Russell in his eighth to capture first place finishing with a Grand Slam 20 Pt. 9 W 157 Spread card.

                                                                                                  

               John “Rotten” Reed also took off running tonight winning eight games in a row skunking Don “Curly” Russell in his game seven before losing his final game to complete his night with a 17 Pt 8 W 104 Spread card to take home second place money tonight.

 

              Zeke “Da Zappa” Blocklinger lost his first game of the night then bounced back and forth all night alternately winning and losing skunking “Old# 1” Martin Hellberg, Shirley “Buzz Saw” Guest and Don “Curly” Russell along the way but also being skunked by Dave “Da Boz” Bosley to complete a 13 Pt. 5 W 44 Spread card for third place money tonight

              Shirley “Buzz Saw” Guest won her first game then lost the next three being skunked by Zeke “Da Zappa” Blocklinger before turning it around and winning the next three and splitting her last two games to turn in a 10 Pt. 5 W -13 Spread card for fourth place honors only.

     SPECIAL POOLS

 

               No attempts tonight on the special pools which leaves the 23 Hand as the only one available for next week’s session.

 

 

     28/29 POOL

 

           One reported attempt on the pool tonight. J.R. “The Spoiler” Cast held a J and three 5’s but only managed a 4 cut for no help. So that means the pot is worth $319.00 for next week’s play.

     Skunk Fund

 

                The skunk pot stamps were a little busier tonight so the fund fared a little better in receiving only $2.00 by the end of the evening. WE STILL THANK ALL OF YOU!!!!
