"Saweet" Johnny Hensley returned from Reno to continue his pursuit of the Club Championship by coming in first tonight with a 14 Pt. 7 W 56 Spread and 79 positive points card. Second place going to his pursuer Pat "Driller" Jungman with another 14 Pt. 7 W 18 Spread card. Third place was taken by "Old #1" Martin Hellberg with another 14 Pt. 6 W 101 Spread card. The last cash place going to Jim "The Teach" Duff with his 13 Pt. 6 W 55 Spread card. "Trooper" Tom Varnell managed to score points but no cash with a 12 Pt. 6 W 57 Spread card.

     "Sweety"  started her journey tonight late in game #5 with "Old #1" Martin Hellberg. He hid her for a couple of games until "Saweet" Johnny Hensley came and took her away in his game 7  but didn't hold on very long as  Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest wanted her in her game 7. Dave "DA Boz" Bosley managed to wrest her away in his game 8 to collect $28.00  as a result of  Sweety's taking last's weeks regular night off.

 

EVENT HAPPENINGS

                                                                                                                                                                                     

          "Saweet" Johnny Hensley started off  the evening winning his first game then losing his second before going on a streak putting together six straight wins until he lost his last one to Dick "The Grumbler" Taylor. His 14 Pt. 7 W 56 Spread card was good enough to keep Pat "Driller" Jungmann at bay in the race for Club Champion this year.

    

         Pat "Driller" Jungmann  was in hot pursuit of  "Saweet" Johnny  with another 14 Pt. 7 W 18 Spread card but wasn't able to gain on him and had to settle for a second place finish tonight.

          

     "Old #1" Martin Hellberg got back into the points race also finishing third with another 14 Pt. 6 W 101 Spread card. He managed to skunk two people along the way, 2nd place finisher Pat "Driller" Jungmann and  Wayne "Super Trooper" Von Clasen.

.   

   Jim "The Teach" Duff  grabbed the last cash place with a 13 Pt. 6 W 55 Spread card to collect fourth place money and points tonight.

 

   "Trooper" Tom Varnell also garnered points but no cash with his 12 Pt. 6 W 57 Spread card this evening.

SPECIAL POOLS


        Dave "Da Boz" Bosley grabbed Raggedy Andy in his game five. `This leaves the only the Crib Flush available to win before reopening all of the pools.

       No action reported this evening in this pool. The amount available for the taking is now up to $156.00
 

 Skunk Fund


        The skunk fund got a little healthier tonight. It received only $1.50 by the end of the evening. WE STILL THANK ALL OF YOU!!
