Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest working her way up coming in first  with a nice 15 Pt. 7 W 78 Spread and 137 positive points card. Second place going to a returning member from surgery Helen "The Hellion" Daniels  with a 15 Pt. 6 W 59 Spread card. Third place was taken by  "Trooper" Tom Varnell again with a 14 Pt. 7 W 56 Spread card. The last cash place going to our club leader "Saweet" Johnny Hensley with his 11 Pt. 5 W 41 Spread card but no points tonight.

     "Sweety"  started her journey tonight late again in game #3 with  John "Rotten" Reed. He hid her for a game until "Trooper" Tom Varnell stole her away in her game 4 but didn't hold on very long as Jim "The Teach" Duff wanted her in his game 4. Helen "The Hellion" Daniels managed to wrest her away in her game 5 but "The Teach" stole her right back in his game 6  to collect $14.00  for his evenings work.

 

EVENT HAPPENINGS

                                                                                                                                                                                     

         Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest started off  the evening nicely winning her first four games before running into Mike "Mr. Quiznos" Clapper. She bounced back and forth even getting skunked by second place Helen "The Hellion" Daniels before winning her last two games to put together her 15 Pt. 7 W 78 Spread card.

    

       Helen "The Hellion" Daniels returned from knee surgery to claim second with a 15 Pt. 6 W 59 Spread card. She started off the evening poorly getting skunked in her first and third games. She won the fourth one and then managed to skunk three opponents in a row to make up for it.

          

     "Trooper" Tom Varnell  continued his run moving up in the points race finishing third tonight with a 14 Pt. 7 W 56 Spread card. 

.   

       "Saweet" Johnny Hensley club leader grabbed the last cash place with an 11 Pt. 5 W 65 Spread card to collect fourth place money but no points.

SPECIAL POOLS


      Mike "Mr. Quiznos" Clapper took the Raggedy Andy money tonight to leave the Crib Flush and Raggedy Ann available to win before reopening the pools again.

 

   28/29  POOL

 

        "Old # 1" Martin Hellberg collected money tonight with 3 5's and a 10 when " Ms 28, Bad" Betty Morehouse cut him the case 5 in his game 3. He tried for a 29 hand the next time with  3 5's with a J but no help with a 3 cut in his last game of the evening.  The pool now is down to $93.00.
 

 Skunk Fund


        The skunk fund got a nice boost tonight. It received  $2.75 by the end of the evening. WE STILL THANK ALL OF YOU!!
