Ms. Sweety jumped around four times tonight before finding good company to spend the rest of the night with.  Ms. Sweety started off by visiting Jeremy “The Cat” Morris in Game 1….his dad (Jerry Morris) was nice enough to deal it to him.  Next, she headed over to visit Dewayne “Big E” Eisenbarth in Game 3…..none other than Jerry Morris also dealt this 24.  John “Rotten” Reed was the next pegger to declare 24 in Game 4 while playing (skunking) “Trooper” Tom Varnell.  Her last stop of the night was with Helen “The Hellion” Daniels in Game 7.  Helen held onto Ms. Sweety for the rest of the night and left with $16 and a smile!

EVENT HAPPENINGS

            First
was John “Rotten” Reed who turned in a 17 Gm Pt, 7 W, +141 Sprd Pts card
tonight.  Yes, that is a 17 point card with only 7 wins….trust me you didn’t want to play John tonight.  He started the night off with 4 straight wins including back to back to back skunks in Games 2, 3, & 4!  He had 11 points after 4 games!  His first loss came when Martin “Ole #1” Hellberg beat him.   John won the next game but lost the following game to “Bad” Betty Morehouse.  John pulled up his bootstraps and won the last two games to finish the night.  Good job John!  If you recall, John finished in 2nd last week and vaulted into 1st Place in the points race with this weeks win.

Second was Wayne “Super Trooper” Von Clasen who turned in a 15 Gm Pt, 7 W, +71 Sprd Pts card.  Wayne started off with a win but then lost the next two games.  He nearly double skunked (57 points) “Bad” Betty Morehouse in Game 4.  Wayne put together 6 straight wins to finish the night including the skunk.  Wayne beat his opponents by an average of 20 points a game but his two losses averaged 32 points each.  Good job Wayne!

Third was “Bad” Betty Morehouse who turned in a 13 Gm Pt, 6 W, +52 Sprd Pts card.  Betty started out on the right foot but staggered in the last half of the night.  She put together a respectible 3 game win streak including an opening game skunk over Helen “The Hellion” Daniels.  She then went on a streak that she probably wishes to forget about by winning every other game for the rest of the night.  Just when she would get a win under her belt and build some momentum, she would lose a close game and start over.  None the less, Betty finished in 3rd Place on the evening.  Good job Betty!

Fourth was “Big” Willie Evans (Visitor) who turned in a 12 Gm Pt, 5 W, +79 Sprd Pts card.  Willie lost the opening game to Shirley “Buzz Saw” Guest by 5 points.  Turning things around he skunked new club member Aaron Drivdahl in Game 2 and nearly skunked his 3rd opponent only to be skunked in Game 4 by Dick “The Grumbler” Taylor.  Willie tried to turn things around by beating “Trooper” Tom Varnell in Game 5 but then lost two straight.  He had 7 points after 7 games and decided to take things into his own hands.  He won Game 8 and pulled off a skunk in Game 9 over Pat “Driller” Jungmann to finish with 12 points.  Good job Willie!
