"Sweety" really made the rounds this evening, spending time with six different persons. " Trooper" Tom Varnell started off with her in his game one. All was quiet until game four when our guest Connie Riordan asked for her. That lasted for only one game when "Saweet" Johnny Hensley snatched her away and kept her for two games. Along came Zeke "Da Zappa" Blocklinger in his game six to help himself to her which only lasted until the very next game and then Helen "The Hellion" Daniels grabbed her to give her a two game rest. "Super Trooper" Wayne Von Clasen snatched her away in his game nine and thought he had her secured but in the end "Trooper" Tom Varnell took her back where she started for the rest of the evening to collect the $14.00.
EVENT HAPPENINGS
"Trooper" Tom Varnell started off the evening by skunking John "Rotten" Reed in his first game and won his next three also skunking Helen "The Hellion" Daniels along the way. He lost his middle two games but turned it around and skunked Dick "The Grumbler" Taylor and also won his last two games to complete his 16 Pts. 7 W 175 Spread card.
J.R. "The Spoiler" Cast came in second again tonight winning and losing alternately before stringing together four games skunking both "Captain" Jack Stemmer and Pat "Driller" Jungmann then losing his last two to complete his 14 Pt. 6 W 96 Spread card.
"Saweet" Johnny Hensley was able to string together four games in a row in the middle of his card to lock up club championship and third place tonight managing to skunk both "Bad" Betty Morehouse and Dick "The Grumbler" Taylor along the way to finish the night with his 12 Pt. 5 W 35 Spread card.
