"Captain " Jack Stemmer captured the first first place of the season tonight with a 15 Pts. 7 W 128 Spread card. Pat "Driller" Jungmann snatched up second with his 12 Pts. 6 W 33 Spread card. Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest finished third with an 11 Pts. 5 W 64 Spread card but no points scored this first sanctioned night of the season.

"Sweety" was really hopping around tonight only spending a short time with each of seven different people all night. She started off in the very first hand of the first game in Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest clutches but not for long as Dave "Da Boz" Bosley took her away in his game two. She really flew around in game three staying for very short visits with "Captain " Jack Stemmer, Dick "The Grumbler" Taylor, Pat "Driller" Jungmann and back again to Shirley. Boz grabbed her back again from Shirley in his game 4 and managed to keep her quiet until game 6 when Jack got his second visit with her. Dick got his second chance in his game seven but not for long as "Saweet" Johnny Hensley wrapped his hot hands around her. Then along came "Bad" Betty Morehouse to put her to rest and collect the $12.00 at the end of the evening.
EVENT HAPPENINGS
"Captain" Jack Stemmer went on a streak winning four games in a row after winning and losing his first two games skunking J.R. "The Spoiler" Cast along the way before being stopped by "Saweet" " Johnny Hensley in game seven. He came back and won his last two games to complete his 15 Pts. 7 W 128 Spread card.
Pat "Driller" Jungmann came in second tonight losing his first game then went on a hot streak winning six in a row and losing his last two to complete his 12 Pt. 6 W 33 Spread card.
Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest started off winning her first three games then losing her next three before winning two more and losing her last game for a third place finish with an 11 Pt. 5 W 59 Spread card.
Only two persons scored points this first sanctioned night of the season.

SPECIAL POOLS
Dick "The Grumbler" Taylor captured The Crib Flush in his first game to start off the new season. There were also a couple of other crib flushes found but no money for them.
28/29 POOL
No attempts reported this evening to try to drain the pool so it stands at $258.00 after the first night of the new season.
Skunk Fund
The skunk fund was not so prosperous tonight. It received only $1.75
by the end of the evening. WE STILL THANK ALL OF YOU!!
