"Sweety" was really lazy tonight taking a siesta for almost the entire evening until J.R. "The Spoiler" Cast aroused her in his eighth game for her only movement. He collected $10 for his effort.
EVENT HAPPENINGS
Pat "Driller" Jungmann won his first game then lost the next two before going on a streak and winning his last six games in a row . He skunked two of his last three opponents "Old #1" Martin Hellberg and "Captain" Jack Stemmer in the last game to complete his 16 Pt. 7 W 99 Spread Card and capturing first place.
" Trooper " Tom Varnell came in second tonight winning his first seven games but then ran into J.R. "The Spoiler" Cast who lived up to his name and stopped Tom's bid for a grand slam. Then "Bad" Betty Morehouse also added salt to the wound by beating him in his last game but still he managed a 15 Pt. 7 W 107 Card.
Helen "The Hellion" Daniels could not put together any kind of a string tonight after losing her first game alternating between winning and losing to complete her 10 Pt. 5 W 18 Spread Card for third place money tonight but no points.
Only two persons scored points for the third week of the season.

SPECIAL POOLS
No special pools were drained tonight. So far then only the Crib Flush and the Wheel are unavailable.
28/29 POOL
Several attempts to drain the pool tonight. Starting with "Old #1" Martin Hellberg in game 2 being dealt three 5's and a face but only cutting an 8. Next J.R. "The Spoiler" Cast made his first try with three 5's and a Q and cut another 8. Next it was Helen "The Hellion" Daniels turn with a J and three 5's cutting an A. Carl "The Wiz" tried his magic with a J and three 5's but came up short with a 7. Along came "Captain" Jack Stemmer for his shot with three 5's and a Q and a 2 cut this time. Finally J.R. "The Spoiler" Cast decided it was time for a 29 hand holding a J and three 5's but only managed to cut another J for no help but a nice 20 hand. So it now stands at $280.00 after the third night of the new season.
Skunk Fund
The skunk fund was no so prosperous tonight. It received $1.00
by the end of the evening. WE STILL THANK ALL OF YOU!!
