Shirley " Buzz Saw" Guest lived up to her name tonight by winning first
place with a 15 Pt. 7 win 86 pt spread. A sometime player "Little" Brad
Taylor took second. "Bad" Betty Morehouse rolled in the money tonight
coming in third and Pat "Driller Jungman rounded out the top for money
winners this first evening of the new season

Wayne " Super Trooper" Van Clasen started off thisfirst night
with the first 24 hand in game 1. She stayed with him until game 6
when "Bad" Betty Morehouse grabbed her to keep.
But "Easy" Ed Baustian took her in game 7. Along came
Helen "The Hellion" Daniels with a 24 in her crib but just got her
hands on Sweety when "Bad" Betty hollered again with her
second 24 in her game 8. She tucked away for the rest of the evening.
EVENT HAPPENINGS
First was
Shirley "Buzz Saw" Guest with
a 15
Pt, 7 W, 86 Spread Pts. card
tonight. Shirley was cleaning house
in her first three games, even skunking "Easy" Ed Baustian in
her third game. But along came Dick "The Grumbler" Taylor and
returned the favor with a skunk on her. She won her next four games
and lost the last one by 11 to "Lethal" Lisa Duff.
"Little Taylor" Brad came in second tonite with a 14 pt. 6 W 74 spread. He won his first 2 games and lost his next three, then recovered to win his last four even skunking Pat "Driller" Jungman in his next to last game of the night.
"Bad" Betty Morehouse finished in third place tonight with 13 Pt 6 W. She won her first four games and lost her fifth but was consoled by getting Raggedy Ann while losing. She lost again in game seven and again was consoled by getting the Wheel for another $10. Betty went home the big money winner this evening and got an escort to her car.
Pat " Driller" Jungman got the last money and point spot tonight with the new point schedule this year. His 12 Pt. 5 W qualified despite losing his last three games and getting skunked in two of them

SPECIAL POOLS
The special pools are
all open and "Bad" Betty Morehouse got both Raggedy Ann
and The Wheel tonight.
28/29 POOL
"Saweet" Johnny
Hensley saw the only chance for a 28 hand tonight when he was
dealt 3 5's and a Queen but only managed to cut
an 6 to go along for no help at all.
SKUNK FUND
The skunk fund was busy again tonight. It received
$2.50 at the end of the evening, WE THANK ALL OF YOU!!
