04-14 CELEBRATION OF SCOUTING Monday, March 29th, 2004 in the Columbia Room of St. John's School. This evening of merriment is the Troops way of acknowledging the founding and history of Boy Scouting - celebrating the scouts and the volunteer adult leaders who give so much. This is also the sign up night for all of the upcoming spring/summer events . . Spring Camporee - Summer Camp- monthly Troop weekend outings etc. Summer Camp reservation fees will be taken, so bring your check books!

M Oberg researched and suggested the catering services of El Mezcal restaurant in Marshfield. The fee quoted for this was $4 per plate. The meal and festivities are open of all scout families and any extended family members they wish to bring. Each patrol will be required to bring specific items (plates/silverware etc.) M Oberg already has this list made out.

Motion made and 2nd (B Bettinger/J Neumann) to have the Troop pick up $2 for each plate and to have the families pay $2 per plate. In order to let the caterer know how much food to bring, we need to know how many people will be there. Please bring the head count and $$ by the March 15th meeting.

The Columbia Room will be opened up by 3:30 PM. Anyone who can help set things up, please be there. Dinner will be served at 6 PM.

04-15 ADULT MENTORS G Leonhard has volunteered to be the Quartermaster mentor. S Voight expressed interest to have some people assist in a project which celebrates our Troops History. This would entail collecting memorabilia and setting up proper displays in the Troop Room. Volunteers for this were J Newmann and G Leonhard.

OLD BUSINESS

PANCAKE BREAKFAST April 25, 2004 at the Eagles Club. Ticket prices set at $5 adults / $3 children (from 5 - 12 ) and Free for under 5. Advertising was discussed, considering the City's new Sign Ordinance. Since the Eagles said we can bring in some food/supplies of our own, a sign up sheet was passed around. It was decided to not have raffle baskets this year, since families will be donating food/supplies.
