DALFI-CMSS provides programming services to a wide variety of government and industrial customers nationwide with products like CMSS: The Calibration Management Support System meets the needs of today's calibration laboratory by providing a convenient method of maintaining required records (MIL-STD 45662A). The Standard Program "fits the need" in many cases. However, our DALFI-CMSS staff can customize the package to more closely meet your company's needs.

Maintains a record of all items that are serviced by the calibration lab.
Maintains a record of all calibration standards used by the lab.
Provides for association a calibrateable item to its custodian or end user.
Provides a record of items received for calibration but not yet tested.
Generates reports for inventory items due for calibration (MIL-STD 45662A).
Prints a Calibration Work Sheet for items received, thus reducing technician preparation time.
Provides a report of the standards normally used to calibrate an item.
Tracks a standard to all items calibrated by the standard (MIL-STD 45662A).
Maintains traceability of the calibration standards (MIL-STD 45662A).
Records the results of tests performed on an item (MIL-STD 45662A).
Records parts required for repairs of each item.
Maintains a "running average" on the time required to calibrate and repair an item.
Prints a Certificate of Calibration listing failed parts and out of tolerance readings for every item calibrated (MIL-STD 45662A>
Tracks the education and qualifications of all lab personnel.
Records the labor hour expenditure for each technician.
Provides "real-world" time required to calibrate or repair an item, thus allowing realistic scheduling of personnel.
Records key information on all employees that can be sorted like any other data base.
Prompts the operator for all inputs to complete an operation.
Minimizes the need to remember complex program relationships with on screen menus.
Reduces reference to support documents with on screen "help", thus speeding operation. Uses single keystroke command keys for most complex operations.
Data entry and access may be password protected if desired.
More than thirty-five report formats are preprogrammed.
Any of the five data bases may be accessed, sorted and reported on as a need arises.
Many of the features can be customized to a buyer's individual needs.
Runs on over 30 single user, multi-user operating systems including: MS-DOS, Win 98, XENIX, UNIX V, IBM OS2, Networks, VAX/VMS, Novell, and others.
Hardware capacity determines the limits of data storage and retrieval.

Calibration Management Support Systems (CMSS) is now owned and operated by Mr. Tom Kasner. Formerly Tom was the Project Manager for CMSS at DALFI, Inc. since its introduction in 1986.
