Hello, I'm Talus, a hairy-American male in my late 20's, and this is a page about me and the things that interest me. Those interests are pretty diverse, though not everything that interests me will have a section here. In fact I'm kind of in a transitional phase right now where a lot of my old interests are falling away. Still a number of my old standbys such as hiking and Britain are here for the long haul. I'll warn everyone upfront, my pages tend to be text-heavy and graphics-light. Although I went to graphics school for a time and still occasionally like to draw, I'm better with the words than the pictures. Here's a quick rundown of what clicking the links to the right will get you: Anglo-Irish Stuff is where I talk about Britain, Ireland, and all kind of related things from Irish music to Eastenders, to my absolute fascination with accents. Hiking Journals are accounts of various hikes I've done. As webspace allows I may post some pictures from recent hikes as well. Music covers artists and bands I like, including mini-reviews of some albums and bands, and links to official and fan sites I find interesting. Cinema is where I talk about some of the films I've seen and what I thought of them. The Web is the obligatory links section, though links which fit into another section generally aren't repeated here. CoF is a messageboard I hang out on with a bunch of my friends. Talustrations is a section populated with some of the things I've drawn over the years. Best viewed at 1024 by 768 or larger because that's what I sized the scans for. What's It All Mean? contains my musings on philosophy, religion, the meaning of life, and other weighty topics. Who IS This Guy? is the obligatory biography page.
