TOTAL PAGE RECONSTRUCTION UNDERWAY

Over the past few weeks, weather conditions have elevated the potential for wildland fires in our county. These conditions are expected to worsen until our region gets significant rainfall. In the past, persons practicing open burning of yard refuse and debris have caused wildfires that have endangered the lives and properties of county residents. We are asking that you refrain from outdoor burning until further notice. We thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

THE OAKLAND AND LORAIN FIRE DEPARTMENTS CONTINUE TO WORK TOGETHER TO PROVIDE THE BEST SERVICE AVAILABLE TO ALL RESIDENTS. WORK CONTINUES ON OUR VENTURE, AS BOTH FIRE DEPARTMENTS CONTINUE TO RUN OUT OF THE OAKLAND STATION.

Special Thanks to Ryan Fondelier & Tommy Lushko who designed and painted the new Maltese cross for LBVFD.
