She married Dale Englebert Udelhofen in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Kieler, January 9, 1945. Dale was born in Grant Cty, WI February 17, 1924. Dale was the son of Harry Eugene Udelhofen and Gladys Margaret Reiter. Dale died September 29, 1997 in Dubuque, Dubuque Cty, IA, at 73 years of age. His body was interred in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Ceme, Cuba City. Telegraph Herald October 1, 1997 Dale E. Services were held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Cuba City Tuesday. Burial was in the church cemetery. Casey-Siegert Funeral Home, Cuba City, was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Udelhofen drove a school bus for Stratton Buses in Cuba City for 10 years. She was born on may 26, 1927, in Kieler, the daughter of Frank and Catherine Schroeder Averkamp. She died Saturday, Sept. 29, 1990, at Southwest Health Center Hospital, Platteville. She married Dale Udelhofen on Jan. 9, 1945, in Kieler. Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Ken (Janet) Ritchie of Hixson, Tenn., Mrs. Timothy (Madonna) Coulthart of Madison and Mrs. Gary (Vicki) Kunkel of Kieler; five sons, Terry, John and David Udelhofen, all of Madison, Greg Udelhofen of Jefferson and Kevin Udelhofen of Cuba City; eight grandchildren; and four sisters, Mrs. Bill (Dorothy) Synder of Cuba City, Mrs. John (Margaret) Kieler of Dickeyville, Mrs. Irvin (Clotilda) Muller of Kieler and Mrs. Richard (Bertha) McMahon of Lancaster.
