She married John Florian Kieler in Kieler, Grant Cty, WI, June 15, 1937. John was born in Jamestown Twsp, Grant Cty, WI December 2, 1913. John was the son of Lawrence Kieler and Elizabeth Kunkel. John died December 28, 1982 at 69 years of age. His body was interred in Holy Ghost Cemetery, Dickeyville, WI. Platteville Journal January 4, 1983 John F. Kieler John F. Kieler, 69, owner of the John F. Kieler Store in Dickeyville, died Thursday, Dec. 28 at Mercy Health Center, Dubuque, Ia. Services were held Friday at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Dickeyville with burial in the church cemetery. Kieler owned the Dickeyville store for more than 44 years. He was born in Kieler and was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters. Surviving are his wife, Margaret Averkamp, Kieler; two daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Mary Lou) Udelhofen, Platteville, and Mrs. Jerry (Nancy) Ames, Potosi; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Ollie, Francis and Martin, all of Kieler; and two sisters, Mrs. Art (Emily) Schroeder, Kieler, and Mrs. Leo (Celesta) Busch, Cuba City. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Casey Funeral Home in Cuba City, where there will be a scripture wake service at 8 p.m. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Ghost Church, Dickeyville. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Kieler was born on Sept. 7, 1917, the daughter of Frank and Katherine (Schroeder) Averkamp of Kieler. She married John Kieler on June 15, 1937. They owned and operated Kieler's Stor in Dickeyville for 45 years. Surviving are two daughters, Mary Lou (Jerry) Udelhofen, Platteville, and Nancy (Jerry) Ames, Potosi; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Dorothy (Bill) Snyder, Cuba City, Bertha (Dick) McMahon, Lancaster, and Clotilda (Irvin) Muller, Kieler. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John in 1982, two brothers, Francis and Aloysius Averkamp, and two sisters Rita Udelhofen and Mary Averkamp.

Margaret Mary Averkamp and John Florian Kieler had the following children:
