5. Bernard (Ben)² Averkamp (Anton Vicentius¹) was born in Wisconsin March 18, 1865. Bernard died September 22, 1941 at 76 years of age. His body was interred in Dickeyville, Grant Cty, WI.

He married Martha Manemann January 30, 1894. Martha was born December 12, 1868. Martha was the daughter of John Clemence Manemann and Christina Uthe. Martha died August 5, 1941 at 72 years of age.

40 v. Andrew J Averkamp was born in Dickeyville, Grant Cty, WI October 16, 1905. Andrew died September 5, 1989 in Lancaster, Grant Cty, WI, at 83 years of age. Telegraph Herald September 16, 1989 Andrew J. Averkamp Platteville, Wis. - Andrew J. Averkamp, 83, of Platteville died Friday, Sept. 15, 1989, at the Orchard Manor Nursing Home in Lancaster. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Platteville, with burial in Holy Ghost Cemetery, Dickeyville. Friends may call after 8 a.m. Monday at the Mergen Funeral Home in Platteville. Mr. Averkamp was a farmer. He was born on Oct. 16, 1905, in Dickeyville, son of Bernard and Martha (Manemann) Averkamp. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Surviving is a sister, Agnes Upmann of East Dubuque, Ill.

42 vii. Albert B Averkamp was born July 8, 1911. Albert died December 16, 1944 in France, at 33 years of age. His body was interred in Lorraine American Cemetery, St. Avold (Moselle), France. Service: U.S. Army, 345th Infantry Regiment, 87th Infantry Division Plot: F Row: 13 Grave: 11
