14. Henry Martin³ Berning (Catherine² Averkamp, Anton Vicentius¹) was born in Sinsinawa, Grant Cty, WI February 21, 1888. Henry died December 12, 1969 in Galena, Jo Daviess Cty, IL, at 81 years of age. His body was interred in St. Mary's, Galena, Jo Daviess Cty, IL.

He married Helena Regina Kaiser in Holy Trinity, Dubuque, IA, February 23, 1916. Helena was born in Fairplay, Grant Cty, WI October 21, 1888. Helena was the daughter of Joseph Kaiser and Christina Leinen. Helena died June 24, 1971 in Dubuque, Dubuque Cty, IA, at 82 years of age. Her body was interred in St. Mary's, Galena, Jo Daviess Cty, IL.

Henry Martin Berning and Helena Regina Kaiser had the following children:
