She married Bernard Manemann September 26, 1916. Bernard was born in Grant Cty, WI October 14, 1878. Bernard died April 24, 1920 in Sinsinawa, Grant Cty, WI, at 41 years of age.

died Wednesday, May 8, 2002 at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Nativity Catholic Church with burial
in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Haverhill, Iowa. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hoffmann-Schneider Funeral Home, 1640 Main
St., where there will be a wake service at 5 p.m. She was born on July 3, 1917, in Grant County, Wis., daughter of Bernard and Ida
(Berning) Manemann. The family moved to Dubuque in 1930. Maleta graduated from the former Visitation Academy in 1934. She worked at
Medical Associates for several years. When Xavier Hospital opened March 1, 1949, she accepted the position of office manager and remained
in that position until Xavier merged with Mercy Health Center in 1982 where she worked until her retirement. She was an avid bridge player
and attained life master status with the American Contract Bridge Association. She was a member of Nativity Parish since moving to Dubuque
and was active in parish organizations for many years. Surviving are a brother-in-law, Richard Swab, of Marshalltown; and nieces and
nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Louis; and a sister Kaye Swab.

Louis H Manemann was born in Grant Cty, WI November 4, 1918. Louis died December 18, 1989 in Tuscaloosa,
AL, at 71 years of age. His body was interred December 21, 1989 in Memory Hill Gardens, Tuscaloosa, AL. He married Frances Primasing in Dubuque, Dubuque Cty, IA, May 13, 1950. Frances was born in
Dubuque, Dubuque Cty, IA February 15, 1920. Frances was the daughter of Earl Primasing and Frances B Wagner.
Frances died August 20, 1989 at 69 years of age. Telegraph Herald December 20, 1989 Louis H. Manemann Louis H.
Manemann; 71 of Tuscaloosa, Ala., formerly of Dubuque, died Monday, December 18, 1989, at home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at
Holy Spirit Catholic Church, with burial in Memory Hill Gardens, both in Tuscaloosa. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Memory
Hill Chapel Funeral Home, Tuscaloosa, where the rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Mrs. Manemann was an assistant superintendent at the
Illinois Central Gulf Railroad for about 45 years before his retirement. He was born on Nov. 4, 1918, in Wisconsin. He married Francis
Primasing; she died on Aug. 20, 1989. Surviving are two sisters, Kay Swab of Marshalltown, Iowa and Maleta Manemann of Dubuque.
